Nora's POV

The last few weeks have been just unreal. Amalie and I have spent almost every day together. My friends think that it's bizarre that I had spent so much time with Amalie except Quinn and Sienna of course. They are the only people who know the truth about Amalie and me. Kayden gives me crap about "my new friend" all the time. He says she's a terrible person and that I need to stay away from her, but she is not. She's great.

We didn't talk much after Friday. I just figured that she was hangover the whole weekend or something. Regardless of what it was, I was just excited to see her.

I didn't talk much with Amalie at school. I eat lunch with my friends and she eats lunch with Julia. And that's okay, just as long as I get to see her after school.

My first class on Monday morning was English with Amalie. But she wasn't there. Weirdly, she had been skipping a lot of classes. And that's not something Amalie would do, she cares about her grades, a lot. And that's one thing I admire about her because I could care less. My mom wants me to take over her company. I don't want that. I know it's a cliche but I just want something that I like. I love acting. And that's what I want to do. But like my mom says it's unrealistic.

I ran around the halls trying to look for Quinn after my class. She was nowhere to be found. That girl I swear to god. While I was looking for Quinn I saw a certain blonde trying to get my attention while peaking out of the girls restroom. I quickly ran towards the girls restroom locking the door behind me. I smiled pulling her towards me and gave her a long kiss. "Hey" I grinned. She just smiled back at me. "So how's the best person ever doing today?" I said. She just looked at me with this blank expression. Her eyes got shiny. "What's wrong?" I said concerned. She didn't answer, instead, she started to sob. I didn't know how to react so I just wrapped my hands around her. "Don't say that, please" Amalie said sobbing. "It's true. You're amazing" I smiled. We didn't say anything after that. We just sat in silence. I don't why she broke down, I didn't ask either. We sat there until someone tried to get in. I stood up, kissed her on the cheek and dragged her up, quickly opened the door for the random freshman trying to get in. I didn't keep track of time when we sat there. I was therefore surprised that I figured out that it was lunch.

"See you later," I said. "Yeah" The blonde responded.

I walked over to our table. Quinn, Kayden, and Sienna already sat there. "Hey, guys,"

"Hey Nora, tell Quinn that Sienna is not out of my league," Kayden said.

"Oh Sienna's way out of your league" I laughed back at him. Jakob, Casper, and Nate soon joined us.

"What's up with Marcus and Julia, are they dating or what?" Sienna asked.

"They're dating, they make out all the time," Casper added. "Well well speaking of the devil" I laughed while I spotted the Browned haired boy walk into the cafeteria. He was surprisingly alone, with no girlfriend, and no idiot friends. I'm glad Marcus has found a girl that actually can make him happy it was nice to see. Marcus was surprisingly walking towards our table.

"Nora. Nice to see you" Marcus smiled awkwardly. "Yes. I guess" I responded bluntly. "Marcus walk away, she isn't interested" Sienna spat.

"Oh I know. Nora's more interested in being a dyke". Before any of us managed to say anything he went on. "Yeah being in a relationship with Julia pays off, she knows a lot of secrets." "Hello everyone!" Marcus yelled trying to get everyone's attention. My friends and I just sat there in shock. "Did you guys know that Amalie and Nora are dating?! Not only that but Amalie doesn't even want to be in a relationship with her. It's a bet for 300 dollars. So there you have it guys Nora Wayne is a pathetic dy-" Before Marcus was able to finish Nate and Kayden quickly jumped Marcus and started to push his head into the ground.  I just sat there trying to process everything he said, I looked around the cafeteria. I spotted that one blonde girl. Our eyes met.

I walked out of the cafeteria without shedding a tear. Everything around me became distant. Quinn, Casper, and Sienna tried to follow me. They became distant. I walked to the restroom where the blonde and I had had that special moment an hour ago. I sat down. No tears. My friends were still following me. Quinn locked the door behind her. That's when the tears came. And they didn't stop.
