7 detention

Great, I'm stuck in detention with Amalie.

When the class was over everyone left except me and Amalie. It's just one hour. You can handle this Nora.

"You girls can just do some homework or something," Ms. Carter said as she sat down. Ugh, I hate this. The only good thing about this detention is that I can stare at Amalie for an hour.

"I'm going to go and pick some papers up but don't even think about leaving alright?" Ms. Carter said after we'd been in detention for about 20 minutes.

"Yes miss" Me and Amalie groaned.

"Amalie?" I asked a couple of moments after Ms. Carter left.

"Yes, Nora what?" Amalie said uninterested.

"Why do you hate me?" I blurted out

"What?" The blonde said as she turned around and started walking towards me.

"Why do you hate me?" I repeated

"I don't hate you, Nora," Amalie walked closer to me

"Yes you do"

"No Nora, I don't" The blonde paused "I don't think about you enough to hate you," The blonde said harshly.

I think I heard my heart shattering into a million little pieces. I just stared at the blonde for a couple of moments before my brain decided what to do. I don't know why but I took Amalie's little outburst as a sign. A sign to smash her lips onto mine. I placed both my hands onto her cheeks and pulled her close enough just so our lips touched. As soon as our lips locked I felt sparks. Sparks in my entire body. At that moment I forgot everything. I can't believe it, I'm kissing the girl of my dreams! The moment was short-lived though as she pulled away as soon as she processed what we were doing. The blonde didn't say anything of course. She just looked at me and I swear something in her eyes had changed since before the kiss. When she finally came to her senses she took her bag and ran out of the classroom.

What have I done? Why did my stupid brain have to do that? "Oh no," I panicked to myself as I remembered I had a boyfriend. Why did I even start dating him? I don't even like him!

Ugh I'm so stupid I thought to myself as I started banging head into the desk

"Where did Amalie go," Ms. Carter said as she interrupted my thoughts.

"Uh she said she had to go or something," I said.

"Okay then, you can leave too but just this once alright." Ms. Carter said surprised by how nice Ms. Carter was.

"Yes thank you, Ms" I smiled as I pulled out my phone. My phone immediately rang. I saw Quinn's name and some dorky picture I took of her back in sophomore year.

"NORA!" Quinn said as soon as I answered.

"QUINN!" I yelled trying to match her energy

"Is something wrong?" Quinn said completely changing her tone. Ugh, Quinn knows me too well.

"Yeah... can we talk?" I mumbled.

*Ring Ring* I heard the doorbell ring

"Nora what's wrong?" Quinn said as she stood in the door frame pulling me into a hug.

"Quinn I need to tell you something"

I then proceeded to tell Quinn everything. The fact that I like girls. Why I even started dating Marcus. Everything about Amalie.

"So you're in love with Amalie huh" Quinn smirked

"Yeah, I guess so. I don't know why though. I hate the girl!"

"I don't think you do babe" Quinn kissed my cheek.

"Please don't tell this to the others alright?" I mumbled

"Of course not, I would never" Quinn smiled softly at me.

I just smiled at her pulling her into one last hug.

"I love you"

"Love you too weirdo" she smiled

"Oh shit the others are waiting, we need to go"

"So what do you guys wanna do?" Jacob asked as we were sitting in the park

"Uh I don't know," Nate said.

"Maybe we should get frozen yogurt or something" Casper gushed.

"Yes! I'm so craving a frozen yogurt right now" Quinn grinned.

"What? No! Lame! I want to get super drunk," Kayden said while scrolling on his phone

"Same" I screamed out

"It's Monday," Casper said while raising one eyebrow

"So? We'll skip tomorrow" Kayden smirked

"See! Kayden gets it" I said excitedly. I needed to get Amalie off my mind even if it's just for one day.

"I don't know. I have football practice tomorrow" Nate.

"Please, Please, please" Me and Kayden begged.

"Ugh, fine," The rest of the group said.

"Great I'll fix us up" Kayden grinned
