It's the morning after I found Amalie passed out on a lawn. I couldn't sleep and it would be kinda awkward if Amalie woke up before me so I woke up at NINE AM on a Saturday. Who am I? That went to waste though because the blonde had woken up three hours later.

"Where am I?!" Amalie yelled out. As soon as I heard the blonde I started to run to the guest room where I found the blonde completely freaked out. The look on Amalie's face when she saw me was priceless though. I just stood there for a couple of seconds having awkward eye contact with the blonde wondering what I should say. But before I could say anything Amalie quickly spoke after our awkward eye contact.

"Nora Wayne, have you kidnapped me?" Amalie smirked.

"If you mean saved your life you could say so" I smirked back at her.

"You saved my life, huh, I find that very hard to believe Wayne," The blonde said amused.

"You passed out on the lawn dumbass" The blonde was just silent after trying to think back to last night.

"Whatever I need to get going," The blonde said as she started to walk towards the door.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay for breakfast?" I said while trying to stop her from walking out of the bedroom door.

"Oh yeah? I'm sure" The blonde said, surprised that I would even ask.

"We could go to the cafe down the street?" I was surprised at myself that I was so pushy towards the blonde.

"Someone's a little clingy today huh Wayne?" Amalie grinned. I shrugged while I smiled like an idiot.

"Ugh, fine I'll have breakfast with you but don't think for a second that we are friends alright?"

Amalie said coldly. Even though Amalie's little comment was rude and all, I just couldn't stop smiling at myself for some reason.

As we walked to the cafe in complete silence I couldn't help but study the blonde. "Why are you staring at me?" Amalie said. "I'm not," I said as I started to blush like hell. Luckily we were right outside the cafe so before Amalie could answer I quickly went in cutting off our conversation.  "What do you want? I'll pay" I asked the blonde. "Jeez Wayne, why so nice?" The blonde said.

"Can't a girl just be nice when she feels like it?"

"Not when that girl is you. I'll pay for myself thanks"

"Fine," I said putting my hands up in the air dramatically

When we had ordered our coffees we found a table right against the window.

"So Wayne spit it out, why so clingy today? You know I'm not still mad about what you said'' The blonde said as she sipped on her coffee. I had almost completely forgotten about that incident at the library. "It's not that but I'm sorry about that...again" I scratched my head awkwardly

"Then what is it, Wayne? Trouble with the boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend?" I asked the blonde wondering who she was referring to.

"Yeah that tall guy on the football team, brown hair"

"Oh, Marcus. No no no no we are not together like at all." I said nervously as I tried to make eye contact with the blonde.

"Uh okay, enough small talk let's do something productive huh maybe that project we have?" The blonde asked. I just groaned as I had almost forgotten about the project. I must admit that I was still excited about hanging out with her.

"What is the project even about anyway?" I asked the blonde.

"Seriously?" Amalie giggled.

Me and Amalie had worked on this project for a couple of hours and I'm pretty surprised that the blonde hadn't said anything to piss her off yet. If this had been just a week ago I would get annoyed at everything she said. Seriously, what's wrong with me?

*Ring Ring*

I heard the blonde's phone vibrating on the table as the blonde quickly picked it up while mimicking to me that she needed to take it. She returned a couple of minutes later.

"Hey, sorry that was my dad, I need to leave," The blonde said as she started to pack her stuff.

"Oh yeah, do you want me to give you a ride?" I asked.

"Oh no it's alright I just live a couple of minutes away from her" Amalie said, surprised by the disappointment in my voice.

"Okay then, bye," I said while awkwardly smiling at the girl.

"See you later Wayne" The blonde smirked as she walked out the door.

I just sat there for a hot minute trying to process what had just happened. "I just had breakfast with Amalie. Weird" I said to myself. When I realized that I was in a coffee shop talking to myself I quickly got my jacket and went out the door. On the walk home I started to think about Amalie again. "Seriously what is up with me" I whispered to myself as I stopped in my tracks realizing. "Am I in love with Amalie?" I said to myself. Of course, I am thinking back at my behavior today. "Of course I am" I yelled out in the street like a crazy person. How haven't I realized I'm in love with Amalie?

Fuck, I'm in love with Amalie.
