Excuses

Your POV

It was currently 3 AM in the morning and I still cannot sleep. Maybe we should've just watched Jupiter Jim instead of that horror movie

I heard movement and hid under my blanket, I peeked out and saw a shadow. I gasped and hid under my blanket again

"Y/N?" I jumped when I heard that "Oh sorry didn't mean to scare you" Donnie whispered "Donnie?" I whispered back "What are you doing up?" I asked

"I should be asking you that" he said back "I was gonna go to the bathroom" he whispered. I noticed that the marks on his face were still there and I couldn't stop myself from laughing

"What? Is there something on my face?" He whispered with a raised brow  "Maybe PFFT you, you should look in the mirror"  you said trying not to wake the others

He walked out of the room and walked to the bathroom, I heard quick footsteps "Who drew on my face?!" He whisper yelled, I laughed "Leo, Mikey and me" I smiled

He looked at me blankly "Were you the one who drew the hearts?" He asked "Yes..?" I whispered "Hm.. okay" he went back to the bathroom

A few minutes later he came back with his face clean but there was still one heart on his cheek "Why do you still have the heart?" I asked

"It's cute." He said closing his eyes, I blushed and looked at him. "Um.. hey Donnie?" I whispered "Hm?" He said back "Is it okay if you.. sleep next to me?" Donnie gasped and started coughing

"W-why not April?" He asked sitting up "I don't wanna wake her.." I said which was an excuse. There was a silence for a few seconds

"Okay.." he stood up and sat on my bed "Why do you want me to sleep next to you anyway?" He asked before laying down "Well, it's embarrassing but.. the movie freaked me out and I haven't gotten any sleep yet" I said facing away

Donnie POV

I sighed "C'mere" I pulled her closer to me and hugged her fron behind. I can tell she was nervous since her body was tense "Go to sleep" I said and felt her body relax

"Thanks.." she said before falling asleep almost instantly. I missed this. I missed hugging her.

Next day

I wake up to see everyone awake and taking pictures "What the hell?" I said covering my eyes. I saw Y/N higging me and her head on my chest

My cheeks turned red "Are you guys really not a thing?" April asked smirking at me "No, April no." I said glaring at her as she shrugged and looked at her phone smiling

"What time is it?" Y/N opened her eyes and looked at me shocked "Oh! Good morning" he smiled with red cheeks "Morning" I said back

"What are you guys doing?.." She loked at the others snapping photos. I sighed "I need my daily caffeine, bye guys" I hugged Y/N one last time before leaving the room

Your POV

I slept comfortably last night thanks to Donnie and had no nightmares surprisingly. I looked at the others to see them showing eachother the pictures they took

"Come on guys let's go eat breakfast" I went out of the room "I'll cook breakfast!" Mikey shouted running towards me "Okay then" I handed him the pan

"What are we gonna have for breakfast chef?" Leo asked resting his chin on his hand "Bacon and eggs" He smiled and put on his apron

"My favourite" I smiled "I know!" Mikey said while smiling, his tooth gap showing "Wait how did you know? Did April tell you?" I asked

He looked at me wide eyed, Donnie face palmed "Y-yeah! April told me hehe.." he said looking back at what he's cooking "hmmm" he was suspicious

A few moments later breakfast was done "Enjoy!" Mikey gave us all a late of the food he made "Looks yummy!" I said grabbing my fork

We all ate the food and gave Mikey the plates "That was some nice food Mikey" Raph said rubbing his stomach. Mikey smiled back in response
