Donnie POV

We all just finished eating breakfast and an idea popped up "Hey what if we all go to the library?" I asked and they all looked at me

"The library? Your so boring Don-" Leo was saying until I kicked his leg and stared at him "Ohhhh" he said realising why I wanted to go to the library

"Going to the library would be nice" Y/N smiled at me, her smile looked beautiful. I smiled back "I'll go but i need to check on Mayhem first, I'll be back when we're going" April said standing up and picking up her things

"See ya later guys!" She waved bedore closing the door in a hurry to check on her pet "Y/N just so you know we're not going to a normal library, it's a mystic library " I said "That's okay! I bet there's more cool books there" she said getting excited

I sighed and smiled, typical Y/N. "I'm gonna go take a shower now 'kay?" She stood up and walked to the bathroom.

"Guys." I made them all look at me "We're all gonna go to the library to find a way to get home and NOT play around like last time." I told them with a very serious face

"Of course Don, we learned our lesson" Leo said with a smirk, I did not believe him not even one bit. "Don't worry Donnie I'll keep them quiet" Raph smiled

I sighed and went on my phone

April: Hey Don are you guys coming home any time soon?? I'm getting impatient 🤨

You: Yes April, we're all actually going to the library to find out if there's a way to make Mikey's powers work faster

April: Oh great! Hope you guys find something

You: Thanks.

Time skip ⏭️

It was finally dark out "Remember to keep quiet when we get to the library" I warned all of them "Where's April?" You asked looking around "It's getting late we have to go without her, just text her or something" I shrugged "Okay.." She took out her phone

"Let's go" Raph said as we followed him. I pulled a book and watched as it swallowed us "AHH-" I heard Y/N scream "Oof" she said as we fell on the floor. Her phone blasted with notifications

I swiped her phone and turned it off "SHHH" I hushed her "Sorry" She whispered smiling. I sighed and pulled her with me to search for a book I picked up the glass ball

"Guide to portals. This is it" I whispered "Let's write down where to go this time" Raph said handing me a paper and pen. I wrote it all down "Let's go" I whispered

We were walking down the halls full of books and saw something at the side of my eye. It was me! I panicked, Y/N was about to look at me- well me in the past

I pulled her closer to me and hugged her. "Donnie?!" She whisper screamed, the hush bats opened their eyes "I just wanted a hug" I whispered

I looked back and saw that I was gone, I sighed and let go of Y/N. She was blushing and I knew I was too "Sorry" I whispered she smiled

This was the worst timing ever. Maybe this is why April couldn't come, today was the day Mayhem got trapped in the mirror. I have to find the others to tell them.

"We should find the others" I whispered to Y/N and she gave me a thumbs up. We soon found the others "Psst Y/N can you give us a few minutes?" I whispered, she smiled and waited

"Guys, us in the past is in the library too. We have to be careful." I whispered to all of them as they nodded "Okay Y/N let's go-" I saw Y/N wasn't there anymore. I started panicking where is she?!

I spotted her downstairs "Phew" I sighed. I soon heard some rapping "Loom 16 take corridor B down the stairs past the ibis tapestry" I heard someone say

This sounds familiar.. WAIT ITS ME RAPPING. I ran to Y/N as quick as I could without making any noise, "Sliding bookcase, after bookcase shows the way to the hall up the pole to a hole to the waterfall" I reached Y/N and covered her eyes

She was startled and was gonna say something until "Donatello! With the book in his hand saves the day and proves that everyone that he's the man"

"Donnie? Is that you? You're being loud" She whispered "Oh- um yes it's me sorry" I said thankful that she thought that it was me "Let's go, no running away to some place this time okay?" I whispered glaring at her as she laughed

I saw past ne flying away with the hush bats. "Guys we gotta be quick, it's almost just me left" Raph whispered so Y/N couldn't hear him

"Come on guys let's go find that book" Leo said signaling us to follow him. "Do you know where we're going?" Raph asked feeling unsure, Leo sweat dropped "Of courseeee just follow my lead" he said trying to look cool.

"Leo it's been 5 minutes and we've been going in circles are you sure you know where we're going?" Mikey asked putting his hand on Leo's shoulder, Leo sighed "I don't" he said with the saddest face ever

"Let me" Raph took the piece of paper from Leo. We all heard a loud bang and saw bookshelves falling like dominoes "Uh oh" Raph said "Take cover!" He used his powers to protect all of us

He took off the bookshelf on top of us "Are you all okay?" Raph looked at all of us "That was scary.. but cool at the same time" Y/N laughed nervously "How are we gonna find the book now?" Mikey asked

I sighed and looked at Mikey "We can't." Mikey looked down "That's okay! We still have a ninja's greatest weapon, hope." I smiled at his determination. "Well then, who wants to go home and get some pizza?" Y/N asked

"Oh! Me! Mememe!" Mikey was raising his hand and I followed them home

I miss home
