CHAPTER FIVE

the next day Jace was at my house; discussing what to wear and the times of the event. "come on, let's go put for lunch. my treat" "it better be your treat after last night" I mumbled. we got in and sat in the corner booth. and to my surprise our waitress was the guy I met at the library, maybe this is where I had seen him. shame and I head been so hostile with him. "good afternoon, are you guys ready to order?" "oh my god! we met at the library yesterday. I never actuallu got your name. I'm Ruth and this is Jace. I'm so sorry for my hostility" "it's ohk; stranger danger and all that. I'm Nick, nice to meet you" we all shook hands and placed our orders. "alcohol on a Wednesday?" Nick shook his head with feigned disappointment. he eventually came and sat down with us on his lunch break and he took had alcohol. we started talking and we got to know each other better. when it was our time to leave we exchanged numbers.
"whose the hunk?" Jace asked. "uhm met him in the library yesterday. I owe him a drink, I was so hostile to him. he seems like a nice guy don't you think?" "yeah yeah, nice. I'm glad you making friends"
i dropped Jace home and decided to meet up with Nick for drinks like we promised. "hey, you came" he hugged me and ordered us drinks. we had so much in common, how had I been so rude to him? I think at some point I got so drunk and ended up telling him I'm actually transgender and not a girl so if he has a problem he should just leave now before either of us got attached. he laughed "I know you are." and that's all he said as he got in my car and drove us home. "you missed the turn to my house" "I know." I was starting to get agitated. and how had he known where I live? maybe i told him when I was extra drunk. he drove to his house and got out. "you sleeping over. you are beyond drunk. come on. let's get you to bed" I giggled. he carried me bridal style up the stairs and we started undressing.
