Cuddles Now, Please - Raphael [Rise]

You're tired, unbelievably tired. You couldn't sleep last night. No matter what you did you just couldn't sleep. School was equally, if not more exhausting. Everyone was too loud and the teachers (as always) were terribly annoying. You almost passed out at lunch due to how tired you were from today. All you wanted to do was to go home, get changed in to whatever you deemed comfortable, and cuddle up to your favorite sewer dweller.

It came time to go home and just when you thought the universe might be on your side you rushed out of the school's doors only to be met with rain. Now filled with absolute frustration you walked to your car and slammed the door when you sat down. Now soaked you angrily banged your head against
the steering wheel causing the cars horn to go off, scaring any nearby cats. You decided instead of going home and getting changed you'd just head straight to the lair.

Upon entering the lair you noticed it was oddly quiet, which probably meant they were out. Sighing to yourself you decided to wait until they got back. You didn't feel like bothering Splinter so you made your way down to your boyfriend's room.

You didn't mean to pass out on his, might I add, Gi-normous, oversized, unbelievably soft, warm bed, covered in stuffies. Raph came home to an unexpected but very welcome surprise. He hadn't noticed you at first for you were buried in a pile of soft fabric. He only noticed you when you were awoken by Leo and Donnie arguing loudly over something you were to tired to understand. You yawned and stretched out your limbs, alerting Raph of your presence. He made a surprise noise to which you giggled at.

"Oh," you sighed out of relief. "It's just you, sunshine." he smiled.

"Mmm...." you yawned again. "Cuddles now, please..." your eyes were heavy due to the exhausting day you had.

He laughed out of complete contentment and utter exhaustion, due to the particularly difficult mission they were just on "Anything for you, sweetheart!" Which was an unbelievably true and honest statement. Raph would move mountains--No, scratch that--he'd move solar systems if it ment you were happy. Though that never ment he wasn't ever afraid of hurting you. You were so small compared to him.

You opened your eyes once you noticed his hesitation. You blinked a couple of times. "It's okay, Raph, I promise. I know you'd never hurt me." you yawned again. "Now come here!" you made grabby hands.

With that he scooped you up into his arms. You both laughed, utterly out of contentment and love. The two of you got situated. You buried your face into his chest and let out a deep sigh, sleep deciding to take over once again.

"I love you..." you whispered in your finale moments of consciousness.

His heart swelled of joy and pride. "Love you more, sunshine..." he left a gentle kiss to your forehead.
