Yn's POV
Boy, today is a great day because guess what?
It's...
THANKSGIVING!!!
I get that Thanksgiving is the most underrated holiday ever, but the reason why I love it so much was because of the fact that I get into a food coma after I eat. What's even more great is that I got a day off from work because Dong Wook is seeing his family for Thanksgiving, so he let everyone have a day off on Thanksgiving.
So what's the plan for today? Well, Anupam is having a Friends-giving dinner at his house. So me and the ol' rag tag gang will be at Anupam's house today. I was getting dressed while Gigi was fast asleep after I fed her some table scraps, which was strips of turkey. When I walked out the hallway, I was greeted by Ha Jun.
"Hey neighbor!" Ha Jun greeted cheerfully. "Happy Turkey Day!"
I giggled.
"Happy Thanksgiving Ha Jun, what are you doing for today?" I asked.
"Ho-yeon wants me to meet her parents." Ha Jun replied.
"Ohh! That sounds nice." I commented.
"Yeah." Ha Jun chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Nervous?" I asked.
"Very." Ha Jun deadpanned.
"Hey, I'm sure you got this okay?" I assured him. "I promise you."
Ha Jun smiled as he pulled me into a big ol' hug, a bit of a bone crushing hug specifically, then pulled away.
"Thanks Yn." Ha Jun thanked as Ho-yeon stepped out.
"Hey there neighbor." Ho-yeon greeted as she smiled.
"Hey Ho-yeon, Happy Thanksgiving." I greeted.
"You too, you two were just chatting?" Ho-yeon asked.
"Yeah, I was telling her that I'm nervous about meeting your parents." Ha Jun explained.
"You'll be fine, I'm more or less about them meeting you because it's all fun and games until they bring out the photo album." Ho-yeon explained as her face turned a bright pink of embarrassment.
Ha Jun couldn't help but be in awe at his girlfriend being embarrassed.
"Aww, I'm sure they have cute photos of you that I would wanna see." Ha Jun assured her.
"C'mon..." Ho-yeon groaned as she began to walk off.
"It's cute when she gets embarrassed." Ha Jun mouthed to me before he walked off.
I smiled as they walked into the elevator then frown when the elevator door closed.
"That's nice..." I thought to myself as I sighed as I began to walk.
Dong Wook's POV
Dong Wook sighed as he unbuckled his seatbelt and got out the car. There standing in front of him was his childhood home. An elderly woman stepped out, filled with love and excitement.
"Is that my baby boy?" The elderly woman questioned as she walked up to Dong Wook.
"Hey eomma." Dong Wook greeted.
"Oh, look at you in your suit." His mother coo'ed. "Just as handsome as your father."
Seong Hee stepped out to see Dong Wook.
"If it ain't my little brother." Seong Hee chuckled out.
"But, I'm taller than you." Dong Wook pointed out.
