"How do you feel?"
I groaned into the pillow and then weakly turned my head. "Like a train went over my lower back. But I know I did this to myself by enticing you to do more."
Denver chuckled as he finished wiping my body down with a damp washcloth. "I knew you would be aching and in pain after doing it five times. Even I'm a little achy."
I smiled and reached for his fingers near me. "Den, did it feel good?"
My fiancé smiled broadly and curled down to kiss my lips. I welcomed the peck and hugged his forearm.
"It felt amazing, Emil. And your sexiness as you took charge a few times really turned me on. You were so cute, too. I loved this time with you, Em."
My face was really warm from his compliments, then I playfully gasped after Denver mentioned that he already knew exactly how much I enjoyed our time together, too. It was true, after all. He was the one who had just finished cleaning me up enough in order to rest together on the bed.
After rinsing the washcloth, Denver disappeared from the room to throw it into the laundry. We already had a load ready to go, so he dealt with that and came back with a few snacks for us. He climbed into bed next to me and helped me roll over, so I rested my head against his chest with his right arm around my shoulders.
Denver kissed my head, offering a cup of water to me first. I drank enough to dampen my dry throat, then eagerly popped a couple grapes into my mouth. Denver pouted at me for some reason.
"What's wrong?"
"I wanted to feed you."
"Oh, oops. You can still do that, Den." I said, after finishing my small mouthful of grapes.
Denver chuckled. "I know."
Before he plucked another grape off the stem, I asked, "Are you worried at all about the wedding?"
He paused, then shook his head with a smile as I took the offered grape from his fingers. "No, Em, I'm not worried. We'll get everything done on time. My only concern is referring some of my patients to a trustworthy colleague for when we go on our honeymoon. As you know, some need weekly sessions. They would be missing two while we're gone."
I smiled and hugged his waist, rubbing my left cheek on his right pec before looking at my man again. "You really care about people, don't you?"
Denver nodded with a smile. "I do. Is it weird that I'm worrying about other people when it comes to our wedding?"
"I don't think so, Den." I replied with a soft chuckle. "After I came to know the person behind the psychologist slash daddy dominant who came to save me, I loved you even more because you were genuinely loving and caring towards people. You wanted to help them get better, not just me. That desire to help is one of the aspects that I love about you, Denver Charleston."
Denver's jaw was trembling as he sniffled. "Are you sure you aren't putting this in your vows and you're just using it now to gauge my reaction?"
I laughed and gently pecked his lips. "That's a great idea! But no, I just had to say how I feel about you, my handsome man."
Denver leaned over to his left to grab a tissue and blow his nose. I grinned to myself and leaned into him again once he threw out the tissue. Denver kissed my head again.
"I love you so much, Emil." he whispered, then asked, "Have you been working on your vows?"
"Yep," I replied happily. "They're going well. How about yours?"
My daddy dominant blushed and looked away. "Well, uh, yes. But I don't know what is a good length for vows, so I might have written too much."
"And you have even more to say?" I asked, a playfully incredulous tone to my voice.
