I walked into the janitors closet and shut the door behind me. There Selena was, typing rather quickly on her phone, and eating strawberry Twizzlers. She didn't even blink for a full three minutes. She was like a machine. Eat, type, eat, type, eat, type. Rinse and repeat.

"Um Selena, are you even breathing?" I asked after another two minutes of watching Machine-Lena in full force.

She snapped her eyes towards me. "Twizzler?" She held the large bag in her hand toward me. I shook my head, declining.

I didn't mean to say what I said next but, my nervousness blurted it out before I could stop it. "How'd you get my number?"

She seemed surprised at this. Hell, I was too. "School records." She said and I could see the early stages of irritation spark in her eyes.

"How'd you get into school records?"

"I'm a sneaky girl when I want to be."

"And, how often is that?" I sighed.

She cocked her head to the side. "Why are you asking so many questions?"

"I'm a nosy guy when I want to be."

It was silent for a few seconds. Not an awkward silence but a tense silence. "So, if I'm going to do this whole make-you-popular-thing then I need your full attention and participation."

"You've got it." I nodded.

I was beyond excited. I was really going to become popular! I can already feel the student body becoming putty in my hands. The tables were going to fucking turn. "I can't have you holding back from me. I need you, alright?"

She needs me.

I don't care what the hell she meant by that, she still needs me. At least for something.

"You-You've got it."

A smile grew on her lips. "This is going to be fun... and time consuming."

"I don't want anybody else, when I think about you I touch myself!" I sang aloud although, I'm sure I sounded pitiful. Oh well, that's clearly not stopping me.

I continued to sing horribly to old 80's music until my older brother, Jake, stormed in. "Selena, I swear, if you don't shut the fuck up, I'll strangle your ass."

I faked a gasp. "Is that a threat, Mr. Gomez?"

"I don't make threats. I make promises." He spat though, I could tell he was joking.

"Okay fine. I'll stop singing -- for now." I smirked. He flashed a quick smile and left.

So now, their was nothing left to do. I could either, watch Tv or do homework.

I chose to stay up all night on my phone.

By the time it was 2:08 a.m. my phone was almost dead and I still couldn't go to sleep. Ever since Friday, sleep didn't come so easily. If I went to sleep, the nightmares would sure enough come and I wasn't ready to relieve that night once again. Not another time. I'll just take my chances at not sleeping. I put my phone on the charger and watched the whole third and fourth season of Sex and The City. By the time Carrie was truly moving on from both of the loves in her life, it was time to get ready for school.

Boring night for the most popular girl at school, huh? You would've thought that I spend my time drinking and partying. No. I'm not much of a drinking girl, I absolutely hate being drunk (being rather tipsy isn't a bad thing though).
