"Happy Birthday!"

Harry and Draco grinned as the gloomy house was decorated with balloons and streamers.

"Ah, look at my big boys! Fifteen! Nearly adults!" Sirius grinned, sweeping them both into his arms.

"You're smushing us Sirius!" Harry laughed, pulling away.

"Okay, okay," Sirius smiled, ruffling their heads, "I get it. You two are getting to old for hugs."

"Not true," Draco said, "maybe just not bone crushing hugs."

"That's fair," Sirius smiled.

They did their rounds, gathering hugs from nearly everyone. Sirius, Severus, Remus, Mrs. Weasley, Mr. Weasley, Hermione, Ginny....

"Remus made chocolate chip pancakes," Mrs. Weasley said, "come on, lets all sit and have a nice breakfast."

"Yeah, come on boys," Severus said, "eat your food and then we have a surprise for you."

"Surprise?" Harry perked up, "I like surprise."

"Yes, Harry, we know," Ginny smiled fondly, patting his cheek, "come, you'll sit next to me."

He was swept away and Draco sat down between Hermione and George.

"What's the surprise?" Draco asked through a mouthful of pancakes.

"Honestly Draco," Hermione rolled her eyes and passed him a napkin. "Finishing chewing before you talk please."

"Sorry Mione," Draco said, wiping his face.

"Much better," she said, patting his cheek. "I don't know, they haven't told us."

"Who planned it?" George asked.

"Professor Snape I believe," Hermione said, "although I think Remus ironed out the details."

"Harold." Draco scowled, looking across the table, "pancakes are not hand food."

"Hater." Ginny said, folding another pancake in half, chocolate syrup oozing out the side.

"You're a bad influence." Draco told her.

She flipped him off.

"Mature." Draco stuck out his tongue.

Fred snorted, "I love this family."

"Is it time for the surprise?" Harry asked as soon as his plate was cleared.

"Patience Harry," Sirius said, "not everyone else is done yet."

So Harry sat at the table, bouncing excitedly in his chair, until Ginny finished, and then the two of them were engaged in a game of paper scissor rock.

"It's like they're on the same wavelength," Fred said, "isn't it creepy?"

"It's not creepy," Hermione said, "I think it's sweet."

"Just eat your food before Harry implodes," Draco said.

The surprise was a beach trip.

"I love the beach," Harry grinned as he threw things into a bag.

"Draco! Make sure your brother is packing correctly!" Severus yelled up the stairs.

"I already am!" Draco yelled back.

"I'm never going to get used to that," Ron groaned.

"I don't need supervision to pack an overnight bag," Harry pouted.

"Harry, you just packed a winter coat," Draco said, pulling the jacket out of the bag, "it's the middle of July."

"But what if I get cold?" Harry said.
