3 hours later Harry returned to the professor's home.

He had fallen asleep in his hidden haven and lost track of time. It was now 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

Opening the door carefully to avoid disturbing the potion master, Harry trekked up the stairs to his room. He walked in to see that all Draco's stuff was moved in. There was another desk directly next to his own, where the boy had apparently fallen asleep with a quill in his hands.

The corner of a piece of parchment was poking to out from under his arm. Curious, Harry carefully tugged the paper out. To his shock, it was a drawing of Hogwarts, detailed perfectly, even down to the squid in the Black Lake.

Draco twisted in his sleep and Harry quickly put the paper back on his desk and ran over to his bed.

Not even a minute later Draco jerked into a sitting position causing him to fall out of the wooden desk.

Not being able to contain himself, Harry let out a full laugh.

"Shut it, Potter," Draco muttered, rubbing his eyes.

Harry answered with another laugh.

Hedwig, Harry's owl, chirped from her cage.

She flew over and landed on Harry's should pecking at his head. He noticed the letter on his nightstand that he neglected earlier that morning.

He grabbed another treat that the snowy white owl ate gratefully while he rubbed her beak. He ripped the seal on the letter and sat back on his bed, ignoring the blond that was curiously attempting to peer

Harry, 8/7/1993

Thank you for writing, I'm finally beginning to get back into how things used to be before the constant stress of last year. My summer has been pretty exciting actually, we just got back from Egypt where we had stayed with Bill. We saw all sorts of things like goblins and the pyramids, of course, you probably already knew this from Ron. Anyways my birthday is on the 11th and I was wondering if you wanted to come, it's going to be a small celebration at the Burrow and I'm sure mum won't mind if you spend the rest of the holidays here. Owl me your answer.

-Ginny

Harry's cheeks instantly flared.

"Who's that from Potter?" Draco asked with a sly grin.

"Nobody you need to know of, Malfoy," Harry replied in a cold tone.

The hours went by and the two 13-year-old boys were summoned for supper.

"Professor," Harry asked.

Severus looked up from his baked potato and responded with a curt 'yes'.

"It's my friends' birthday on Wednesday and I was wondering if I could go or possibly stay there for the rest of the holiday."

"And who's birthday would this be?"

"Ginny Weasley."

"Weaselette," Draco corrected.

"I presume you can go but you have to return here by Sunday afternoon." the man gave his final decision. Not finding it useful to argue, Harry finished before asking to be excused and running upstairs. He found a quill, ink, and parchment before beginning to write.

Ginny,

I'm glad to hear all is well. I would love to come to your birthday celebration. I'll be there Wednesday morning, however, I was not permitted to spend the rest of the summer there, only until Sunday. Tell your family I said hi, I'll see you Wednesday!

Harry

Satisfied with his letter, Harry let his owl rest until the morning when she would be sent out with the note. Sitting at his desk Harry finished the rest of his schoolwork. Curious to why Draco hadn't come back yet, Harry set out to find him.

Not paying attention Harry crashed into something on his way down the stairs. The thing let out a groan as they went tumbling down the remaining steps before knocking down a vase that was on a table.

Glass and water were everywhere and the two boys sat up both checking themselves for injuries. Harry had hit his head pretty hard and Draco had a 4-inch piece of glass sticking out of his arm.

"What are you two blundering idiots doing now!" Snape yelled storming out of his study. In the blink of an eye, the vase was repaired and placed back on the side table.

Ten minutes later, both boys were healed and sent to their room with a warning; if they left their room or bothered him for any reason until the morning he will personally strangle them. Not wanted to test that threat they rushed up to their room. Harry grabbed his broom and started to polish it.

"Ready for defeat this season Potter." Draco snarled.

Harry laughed. "You wish Malfoy, our team is better even without our daddy-bought brooms."
Draco's face immediately fell again and Harry cursed his foul memory. An awkward silence pierced the air as both boys stared at the ground.

"Don't you think we should get Snape to split the bed?" Harry wondered.

"I'll go, he likes me better I am his godson after all." Draco sighed trying the doorknob. "It won't open." He remarked pushing on the door.

"What?" Harry exclaimed. "Let me try." He pushed the Slytherin out of the way and tried opening the door. It didn't even budge.

"This is your fault Potter." Draco drawled.

"How is this possibly my fault!" Harry responded.

"Your the one who was looking where you were going when you ran down the stairs like a bloody idiot!" Draco retorted.

"If I recall correctly you weren't looking either!"

"Whatever, it's still your fault."

"It's totally not."

"Well, what do you suggest we do, Potter?"

"Well I mean the bed is pretty big."

"Oh! I think no! No way in bloody hell am I sharing a bed with you. I would rather sleep on the floor." Draco gasped looking appalled at the suggestion.

"Well you can do just that then," Harry said, approaching his trunk to change into his pajamas. He had his Hogwarts complimentary pajamas on, a red t-shirt, and darker red sweatpants. Draco had the same outfit on except in green.

Harry climbed into his bed taking off his glasses. Draco walked over and grabbed a blanket and a pillow off the bed, in an attempt to save them Harry tried yanking them back but with a mighty pull, they were in the Malfoy's possession. Sighing, Harry turned off the lamp and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep.

Around 3 in the morning Harry was woken by a girlish squeal. He turned to see the blond boy climbing into the bed next to him.

"The floor was just too 3rd class for you. huh Malfoy." Harry grumbled, half asleep.

"Trust me, Potter, I'm no happier about this than you are but there was just a bloody spider on my head! A spider!" The boy said his voice raising 3 octaves.

"What Malfoy, you scared of spiders?" Harry laughed.

"No." Draco failed to convince Harry. "How are you so calm about a spider being in our room?"

"I lived in a cupboard for the first 11 years of my life. There was nothing but spiders." Harry replied simply before rolling over and falling back asleep.

In the morning Draco was sprawled on his back, Harry's head on his arm and hand grabbing onto his loosely-fit green t-shirt. Their legs were tangled together and their heads laid right next to each other.

Draco jolted awake, waking Harry in the process. Both boys surveyed their positions before yanking apart. They both rolled back with so much force that they were sent toppling over each side of the bed.

"We will never speak of this again," Harry warned.

"For once I agree with you on something," Draco replied.
