Does this song count as an OP? I'm going to be using it as such for this new 'season' of the story. It's a cool song, it's originally for Polnareff and most of all, the name is just too perfect for me not to use at least once.

Two weeks.

A whole fortnight had passed since Ragyo was killed, and safety was restored to themselves and the earth. Since then, a lot of changes have happened to the Academy.

Possibly the biggest change was the sudden... hollowness of Honnouji. Ever since the Disciplinary Committee gave up punishing tardiness (with an iron fist, anyway), most of the former No-Star population had simply stopped turning up. Plus, it turned out that quite a significant margin of the teachers were actually double agents either for Nudist Beach or the Foundation or both. With these forces having now disbanded and the small number of remaining No-Stars showing up, most classes were merged, leaving numerous empty rooms on any given day.

The clubs actually had the greatest turnout nowadays, with almost all of the students partaking in at least a few now that they were A) running more sensible activities due to the lack of Goku Uniforms and B) organised for fun, not strict disciplining and climbing the island's hierarchy. Hell, a sizeable number of newer clubs were actually just class-replacing ones for subjects, which were easy to set up what with there being plenty of space and at least one class' worth of demand per subject.

Another big change came with the shrinking of their group. Mikisugi, Tsumugu and Hol Horse had all departed with their various groups. The gunman finally resumed his long-postponed vacation back home in Texas, having fulfilled his promises. The two Nudists meanwhile had, for all intents and purposes, disappeared off the face of the Earth. Yuryomi, too, was mostly absent, though that was mainly because she didn't turn up for anything school-related and instead spent most of her time trying to repay her perceived 'debt' to the Mankanshoku family - One which the family didn't care about, but were more than happy to make use of. Barazo had even taken her on as an assistant for strapping down terrified patients!

Anubis, however... was a special case. Initially, the Foundation wanted him returned as an object, seeing as he was stolen as one by Nui and Rei. But Anubis protested, and Toshiro decided to represent him like a lawyer does a defendant in a case. Ryuko soon jumped in as well, the similarities between the sword and Senketsu tugging at her heartstrings and forcing her into action. With such stubborn resistance against the Glory God's return, they departed and informed them that they'd come back at a later date to properly negotiate the sword's return.

Some things, though, never change...
