"what's going on dad?"

He frowned,deep lines showing on his forehead,he looked at the lemon tree and for a moment I couldn't help but glare at the tree,it seemed to be the only thing he was focusing on.

I pouted my lips when I felt there was no answer coming and turned to look in another direction when I heard his calm voice.

"What do you want to know child?"he asked and I smiled as questions filled my head.

"Who were those men that broke into our home,and what do they want Dad?".I asked

"Who they are and what they want,that answer I can't give now child."he spoke calmly and I frowned "not until he talks."he finished.

"Who talks?"I asked clearly confused.

"The men we caught."he said looking at me for a while before looking at the lemon tree "we have been able to get some answers from one of them, that's how we got to find out they were bringing backups,"he said and I nodded remembering the phone call this morning.

"But the other one...."he paused trying to calm himself,I could tell from how angry he was that the other one was being a pain "he has not said a word child, he's been quiet ever since we caught them and we believe he has the answers to this,we just need to get him to talk."he finished and I nodded.

I didn't know what to say anymore,so I kept quiet and traced the lines of my bandaged hand,my thoughts drifting off, somehow I didn't feel safe,I didn't feel my family were safe.i was lost in my thoughts when I felt his hand on my head,I raised my head up and met his eyes and he stroked my head gently.

"It's going to be fine, everything is going to be fine."he said looking at me "you are safe."he said like he could read my thoughts,like he saw my fear.his words comforted me and I smiled and nodded.

I closed my eyes as I felt his hand leave my head.i slowly drifted off,my father's comforting words covering me like a blanket, shielding me from my fears.i opened my eyes,it was dark,pitch black that I couldn't see my hands.

"Dad?"I called out, turning left and right if I could see him but I couldn't,all I heard was echo's of my own voice.i tried to walk but tripped on my own feet and I fell, bringing my knees to my chest I rubbed my sore leg when suddenly I could see light in a far distance,I thought of standing and making my way to the light but decided against it almost immediately when I remembered my fall,I decided to crawl to it,that would definitely work, dusting my clothes I got on all fours when suddenly the light got brighter,and brighter,and brighter,until I could see clearly.

It was an empty space, everything pure white,no ceiling, no walls,just pure nothingness of white, I knelt and scratched the back of my head in pure confusion,what was happening,I called out to dad again but this time I didn't hear any echos,or my father's voice.slowly I stood and walked but then I heard a horrible scream and I turned sharply and met with a very angry eyes,he wore a mask and it only covered the lower part of his face and also his hair leaving his eyes.

"Get up here now."he yelled,his voice sounded like a hundred angry men,I took a step back in fear and I fell.i screamed falling into a black hole as everything started turning dark,but then I was caught Midway,I opened my eyes and saw the same man and he pulled me out violently only to plunge in a sharp knife into my chest.

I staggered backwards a little,as I felt blood trickle out of my body flowing down and making a puddle around me,the pain was blinding and I couldn't breathe or speak,I opened my mouth and more blood poured out, it's metallic taste invading my taste buds,I looked at my hands and they were covered in blood and I looked at my surroundings and there were stains on it, everywhere was stained with blood.traces of blood here and there, it's red color a sharp contrast to white nothingness,I took a step back as the pain swallowed me,my heart beat slowing down as I felt life drain out of me with every drop of blood that came out of me and I fell into the black hole,a tear slipped out of my eyes as I watched in horror everything turning into blackness and I fell into an ocean,I didn't have the will to fight anymore,all I did was try to stay awake and as I slowly drowned I watched far far above me,the masked man stared for a while before turning and walking away and I accepted my fate and slowly drowned till I reached the deepest part of the ocean.
