Blue's pov:
I opened my eyes slowly but shut them back due to the light. I tried again squinting a bit until I could see clearly.
I stared at the ceiling,my body felt stiff and I couldn't move but that didn't bother me as much as the ceiling did. It wasn't my ceiling.
The continues beeping was beginning to irritate me and I groaned in pain as I tried to look at what was making that sound. I stared at it for a while, the urge to push everything to the ground was so strong I had to look away. Somehow I just didn't want to make a sound, but I didn't know why.
I turned the other way looking at my hand and I frowned, why did I have a cannula inserted in my hand, and everything came back to me in a flash, the kidnapping, torture, pain.
I gasped in shock, fear creeping back into me,lodging in my heart like it had always been there waiting for me to acknowledge it. My gasp turned into shallow pants as fear and panic made it hard for me to breathe.
The heart monitor had started to beep faster and louder as my fear intensified. If anyone heard me,or knew I was awake, the outcome could be disastrous. I pulled at the cannula and other things attached to my body not minding the pain it caused, this little pain was better compared to what I'll face if they found out I was awake.
I tried to sit up,my body felt so stiff,I didn't want anyone to come into the room, I didn't know what they would do to me,I needed to get out of here.
I took a deep breath and tried to sit up again,my body felt like it hadn't been used in a long while. This little movement of mine made me want to lay back and sleep again. I pulled the covers off and gently placed my foots on the tiled floor.
Sighing,I forced myself to stand up. I felt too weak for all this and I just wanted someone to hold my hand so I'd walk properly,it just seemed too much work to do alone.
I took a step forward and all my body shook making me stumble to the wall as i held on for support,I took in quick short breaths. Why was it this difficult, why did it feel like it had been so long i walked,I stared at my feet and sighed but my eyes caught the mirror on the wall.
I looked at my reflection and for a moment i stood confused,I looked better than i thought i would, with all the torture and pain i had been through,I had expected to look horrible, but i didn't. The marks on my wrists from the chains had healed, the purples marks I had seen on my neck through the reflection of the glass windows back then seemed to have faded, they seemed lighter. But I still had a bandage on my head.
I heard voices outside and I panicked. My body finally willed itself to move and I staggered to the closed door and stood,my hands unconsciously finding its way to my mouth, shutting myself up so I wouldn't make a sound.
The door opened slowly and I shut my eyes terrified, but it stopped midway when someone spoke up.
"What are you doing?" I heard someone say and the person behind the door spoke up.
"I want to change the luna's bandages." The female voice behind the slightly opened door answered terrified of whoever had asked her that question.
"You know the alpha would slit your throat if he finds you here,he never lets anyone in here without him around." The person said.
"I'm sorry."she answered so quietly,I could tell she was very scared and shaken cause her voice trembled.
I heard her walk away and the person sigh,I heard the door shut and I released a breath I didn't know I was holding. I stayed still until I felt everyone outside must have left, walking to the door I opened it peeping outside.
The hall was quiet, and nobody was around. I stepped out shutting the door quietly behind me,I stared at my left and then to my right and I didn't know which way to go,deciding on my left I walked slowly grateful that I could walk and soon I had increased my sped and was already sprinting down the steps, until I got to a huge hall.
This place was magnificent,a massive chandelier hung proudly above giving the entire place this glow, the marble tiles were to die for, with diamonds encrusted in it. I stared at my barefooted feet, worried that I'll stain the tiles with it when my eyes caught the door.
I stared at it,my eyes bulging,I searched around but I couldn't find anyone, was this a plan. I shrugged, running straight to the door I opened it and peeped out and the cold hit me. I shut the door back, taking a deep breath, there was snow outside and it was so cold, but I had to leave.
I opened the door and peeped out but there was no one,I took a deep breath and stepped out. I shivered as I felt the cold get to my feet. I looked around but I couldn't find anyone.
"Where is everybody." I said aloud, scratching the back of my head in confusion.
I placed my feet down the cold tiles and climbed down the steps until my feet touched the soft snow. It covered my feet sending shivers down my spine. I hurriedly walked until I got to the huge gate,I looked at it and knew I wouldn't be able to jump over,I looked at the fence so huge you couldn't see what was outside.
I sighed,my hopes dashing as my throat started to constrict and I felt tears fill my eyes.
"Please open."I choked out a sob, blinking back the tear that threatened to spill. I was starting to not feel my feet.
The gate started sliding back and I gasped, running to the fence and hiding there,I watched a black car drive in and the gate started to slide out again, wanting to shut itself.
I looked at the black car and it took a gentle turn and I ran for the gate, jumping out as the gate shut behind me,I looked around quickly and saw that there was no one.
I stood up dusting myself, grateful that I had fallen on snow,it would have been bad. I looked at the road in front of me,this massive house was at the end of the road but I noticed there were no other houses in sight.
If I took the road I could get caught,I couldn't risk it. I ran quick off the road and into the snow covered forest, the cold was starting to make its way from my feet straight to my heart, the hair on my skin stood and my lips quivered as I ran.
I had gone far,I felt I had because I couldn't see the house in sight anymore, because my body shook as I ran and the cold embraced me like a mother, because my light blue hospital gown seemed like it had frozen up,because I couldn't feel my leg but the will in me made every cold step worth it.
The snow shook as I heard footsteps and loud howling,I turned behind me,frozen branches fell far behind me as the howling intensified. I heard a growl,so loud it made the earth shake and I lost my balance and fell.
"No,not again." I said standing up as I ran like my life depended on it.
My life did depend on it.....
