Trees adored both sides of the road,it was beautiful to watch,like we were on a road trip and as we got closer to the city,the trees slowly disappeared,there were cars on the road, everybody minding their own business, heading to their destination,there were coffee shops, boutiques,it was bustling.

We got to the center of the city and passed by a park,there were little kids running around,I could see dogs playing with their owners,I remembered this park,I used to come there every Friday to greet this particular couple sitting on a bench. I couldn't get to see them again after I got fired,they always used to look forward to seeing me every Friday evenings,a lump grew in my throat as Kyle drove past the park. We got to the mall and Kyle parked the car.

"So here's the deal,we go in and take different directions,you can have breakfast and also get snacks you feel would be needed."I said and they all nodded.

I turned slightly ready to open the door but Kyle stopped me "wait,you forgot something."I looked at him and he handed me a pair of sunglasses

"What the hell,I don't need that."I said smacking him.

"Yes you do,you can't run around the mall with gold eyes,your hair color is already drawing that much attention."he said trying to put it on me and I held his hand pushing him.

"No,I don't care about them,or what they think."I said shoving him but he wouldn't budge.

"Alright fine."I said taking it,I put it on and glared at him and he smiled warmly making me roll my eyes "remember,you all have half an hour, we will meet back in the car."I said and we all opened the car doors at once stepping out.

Heads turned as we stepped out,girls giggled and spoke in hushed tones when they saw the boys,and boys waved at me and Ann,I took off my sunglasses and I could hear a few gasp,Kyle shook his head at me, laughing a bit before we all headed into the mall and going Separate ways.

Occasionally boys would stop to talk to me,and I would politely answer and walk away,and girls would glare,the few who didn't just wanted to know who dyed my hair so well and how my lens make me look beautiful.one time when I got to the chocolate section I saw Kyle and Ann munching on something and laughing and when they saw me,they hurriedly went separate ways.

Thirty minutes later and I was standing close to the car with all the goodies in the back seat,a few minutes and Ann came out with different snacks,she threw them into the car and wiggled her eyebrows at me and I laughed.

"Come here,you have chocolate on you."I said and she laughed and came closer and I wiped it off.

Ryan and Kyle came out later laughing like kids,I got into the car followed by them "did you eat anything?"Kyle asked and I shook my head "I knew you wouldn't,I got you something."he brought out a takeaway pack and handed it to me and I smiled "here you go."he said to Ann and gave her another one of the pack,and also gave to Ryan.

He started the car,but Ann's voice stopped him "wait, there's no marshmallow."

"What."I turned looking at her as she scattered the packs looking for it,she threw each pack at Ryan side trying to find marshmallow and Ryan just scoffed "it's not here,no one got it."she pouted.

"Alright,you guys head home and I'll get it."I said coming out the car and Kyle followed.

"We have enough,you don't need to get it."he said and I turned"it's inside,you guys just go, I'll be right behind you."but Kyle didn't look pleased

"How are you gonna come home,you haven't eaten yet,your food's in the car."he stressed out and I shrugged.

"I'll be fine, I'll get a cab and I'll get something to eat when I go in,you guys go set up,find a nice spot, I'll be there before you know it, alright."I spoke softly and he nodded,he remained in that spot hesitant for a while before he turned and opened the car door, sitting inside he turned looking at me.
