Harry's POV

Once everyone was down, Dumbeldore dusted himself down, and ordered;

"Bring them to the mirror room."

As we levatated the rebels, I couldn't help but regret what I was doing. Dudley and I....well...we had been incredibly close. I do miss him. But I have gone too far now- I have the spear. I cant go back. That would be risking everything - Gryfindor, Madeline, and my life. I've started this, and now I must finish it.

As we were walking, Malfoy was talking loudly to Weasley when he said;

"Ey, Pottah, what's the point of this 'mirror room' anyway?" He asked.

" Well, Recruit Malfoy, the mirror room is the room that contains the secret weapon of Lord Dumbeldore; The Mirror of Erised. It has showed him all he desires, and since he desires the Philosopher's Stone, it showed him how to retrieve it. And, by the way, it's Commander Potter to you. You may also refer to my associate as Commander Vonezi. Do not refer to Lord Dumbeldore as 'Professor' outside of Hogwarts. Yourself, Gaunt, Weasley and Delavone are at the rank 'recruit', and shall be addressed as such. Agreed?" I said with a tone of steel.

Malfoy nodded hastily and turned away quickly.

We all walked in silence after that, with Malfoy and Gaunt taking up the rear. The rebels stirred in their sleep once or twice, but all was still other than that.

It was a relief when we reached the Mirror room. After the new recruits tied up the still unconscious rebels, they looked at me, as if expecting orders.

"You are all dismissed. Commander Vonezi and I shall keep guard. Await word from Lord Dumbeldore for your next task." I curtly nodded as they bowed and scampered away.

Once the door slammed, I turned to Madeline and began sobbing into her shoulders.

"Maddy....It hurts so much...I can't do this..." I said in-between sobs.

"Shhhh...I know Harry...But we have no other choice. We'll power through this together, I promise." Madeline smiled in a reassuring way and lifted my chin gently so I could see her eyes.

"We're on the wrong side of this war, aren't we?" I mumbled quietly.

"Harry....yes. But we don't have to be forever. I'll find a way to get us out of here as soon as possible, and we can be free... together." Madeline hugged me tight in a way that reminded me of my mother. I felt so safe...it felt natural. Me and her.

"Thank you, Maddy. Thank you for everything." I smiled despite the tears tumbling from my eyes.

Just then, the door creaked open loudly. With one last squeeze of my hand, Madeline and I jumped apart, looking bored.

In walked Dumbeldore.

"Lord Dumbeldore, sir! How can we serve you?" Madeline curtseyed and I bowed.

"I see you successfully apprehended the rebels." Dumbeldore said, surprised.

"Of course, Lord Dumbeldore. We never believed for a second that we would fail you." I stuttered.

"Bring the first to come around into the next chamber. I have something planned for these rebels." Dumbeldore laughed like a maniac.

I almost felt sorry for the poor rebels.
