Chapter 07

~Kirrily POV~

~A fortnight later in the dorms~

“Hurry up! Load! Load!” I screamed becoming more frustrated and frustrated with my laptop in front of me as I tried to log into Skype.

“It could have been worse! Like a bird flying in and pooping on your screen, and whilst you’re trying to get it off you scratch the screen and after a few weeks it annoys you so much that you chuck it at a wall and it smashes.” Kendra said in a matter-of-fact tone.

“Yeah, and what are the chances of that happening?” I cocked an eyebrow at her.

“Okay, well put it this way. There are people out there who don’t have a laptop.” She said knowing that she won.

I gasped. Those poor people. No seriously, that’s sad.

“Oh no!” I gaped at her.

“Exactly, now shut up.” she laughed before returning to the kitchen to cook dinner. Fer oohz. Now how romantic is that.

When I finally got onto Skype and saw a green tick next to Niall’s name I did a little dance. Although we have Skype chats every day I still get butterflies when I call him.

Suddenly, a window opened up notifying me that Niall is requesting a video call.I accepted it and a screen popped up with Niall’s face on it.

“Hello Ireland!” I said waving to him and using my new nickname.

“Hello Samantha!” he replied with a wink.

“Shut up!” I said blushing with embarrassment.

“HELLO NIALL!” Kendra screamed into the camera before handing my bowl of pasta.She sat on my bed with me as we talked to Niall.Suddenly, black hair blocked my view as Zayn pulled funny faces into the camera.

“ZAYN!” I screamed.

“KIRRILY!” He screamed back. He took a seat next to Niall.

“Well hello to you too Zayn! I gotta pee. Be right back girlies!” Kendra giggled before skipping of to the bathroom.That girl, sometimes I wondered if she’s been to the doctor for the past 6 months.

“So, you coming to Doncaster tomorrow?” Niall asked nervously about Kendra and my little visit to Doncaster for the boys’ concert.

“Well obviously, you boys fail to entertain Kendra when she’s on her break from being your styling boss, so I kinda HAVE to go. But if I had the choice I would’ve stayed here.” I said acting serious.

Zayn caught on but Niall didn’t.

“ARE YOU SERIOUS GIRL?! I am funny!” Zayn retorted.

“Pl-ease Zayn that’s the number one thing that’s on your “Zayn Can’t Do list”“ I retaliated.

“Whatever I’m out!” He shot me a wink before standing up and walking off.

“So you’re really coming because you absolutely HAVE to?” Niall asked looking hurt.

“No! I’m coming because Santa said I have no choice. Of course I’m coming because I want to! Silly!” I said shaking my head and laughing.

“Whatever.” Niall said looking away in embarrassment.

“Anyway, sing for me.” I said changing the subject before I accidentally say something like ‘aww you look so cute when you’re embarrassed’ and make this awkward.

“Only if you sing for me.” He shot back, knowing that I don’t like to sing in front of just one person.Because hey! People are so judgmental these days and if you’re with a crowd they’ll most likely clap for you.
