Toge x reader scenario in which Toge is injured from a fight and reader takes care of him. I hope you like it!

It was late afternoon, and you were feeling bored after finishing your homework. There was always more studying you could do, but you just didn't have the motivation. It was a cloudy, cool day, and you would've rather spent it doing cozy activities with your friends than glued to your desk.

You knew Toge was probably thinking the same as you. He hates homework, and he loves cloudy days. They're his favorite type of weather, and he loves nothing more than cloudy day activities.

You made your way down the hall to Toge's room wondering if he wanted to make hot chocolate, or maybe go downtown and visit the shops and get a sweet treat. Maybe he would even want to watch a movie with you.

You knock on his door, expecting to hear "Salmon!" but after a moment, there was no response.

"Toge!" You knock again, and silence.

You know he's in there, so why isn't he answering? An irrational thought crossed your mind, but you ignored it. What if something happened to his voice?

Even though it was unlikely, you still wanted to make sure he was okay.

"Toge? Can I come in?"

You crack the door open slowly, giving him time to confess to playing some stupid joke on you. But when you poke your head through, you're confused. He's just lying on his bed.

You approach him, and once his face comes into view, your heart drops. Dried blood stains and scratches cover his face. He is lying on his side peacefully snoozing, but this is no peaceful sight to you.

"Toge! Oh my god Toge wake up!"

At the sound of your voice, he shifts over to the other side in his sleep, but does not wake up.

"TOGE." You plop onto the side of his bed, and yell perhaps a bit too loud, because his body jolts and when he turns to look at you, his purple eyes are wide open with shock and fatigue. "Hey, are you okay? What's going on?"

He sits up, rubs his eyes for a moment and nods, and then reaches for his phone on the bedside table and opens messages.

Your phone buzzes from your pocket and you open the text.

im okay. i got into a bad fight. i was just taking a nap.

"Well yeah I can see that. Did you see Ieri?"

He looks down at his phone and almost rolls his eyes, like you caring for him is all you ever do and it's embarrassing. But you can't help it. He's precious, and someone has to keep an eye on him.

Three dots appear and turn into a gray text bubble.

no. i was so tired i just took a nap.

"Why the hell not? You're all scuffed up!""

He chuckles and shakes his head at you

dont worry im fine. I was gonna see her but its such a long walk to the infirmary lol

"Damn. It must've been really bad if you didn't even have the energy to clean yourself up. Did you take your throat meds?"

yeah. you know its first thing i do in a fight.

"Okay well I had to make sure. I can't trust you sometimes."

He stares at his phone in his hands with his gaze lowered. You can tell he is really tired, because his eyelids slowly fall over his unfocused amethyst eyes. He has the cutest blonde eyelashes. They make you jealous sometimes.
