The stands sat on the edge of their seat as the East Bay boy's made their final play.
It had been a competitive game and it was tied twelve to twelve. The ball flew between Mingyu to Jongin to Chanyeol.
With two seconds on the clock the tie broke with a touch down on East Bay's end. The crowd erupted in cheers. These last few games mattered because it would secure their place in the playoffs.
Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie, and Chae wrapped each other in a hug as they jumped up and down. Sehun had briefly introduced the girls to Lisa before the game and asked if she could sit with them. The girls immediately got along.
Once they let go Chaeyoung turned towards Chanyeol's mom and gave her a hug. She didn't know if her action was too forward but she was so excited for him.
Chanyeol's dad walked from the stands shortly after to meet Chanyeol and his coach near the locker room.
The girls and Mrs. Park walked down the stands before waiting on the sidelines for the boys to be done with interviews and finished changing. The girls fell into a conversation Mrs. Park could join in on as they waited.
Chaeyoung watched as Chanyeol finished his last interview they made eye contact and they both shot each other a smile.
Once he was done he walked over planting a kiss on her cheek. He greeted his mom next giving her a hug. His mom told him he did great on the field and she was so proud of him. One by one Jongin and Sehun walked out at as well.
Mr. Park shortly joined the group.
Chaeyoung tried to stay out of his way as she could tell he wasn't her biggest fan. The warmth his mom showed her made up for it. She could tell he was in a better mood tonight than the last time she seen him.
She watched as Chanyeol stepped to the side with his parents.
"I wanna post our picture girls," Jennie said holding her phone up. "Do you guys think this is cute?" She asked.
The girls all agreed before Jennie posted it.
