Chaeyoung gave Chanyeol a once over before letting out a laugh.
"Can we focus on what's important here." Chaeyoung pointed at her binder.
"I never had a girl give me that kind of reaction when I ask her to be my girlfriend." Chanyeol put a hand on his heart. "That kind of hurt."
"You can't be serious right now."
"I'm so serious." Chanyeol moved the binder from Chaeyoung before proceeding to tell her his plan.
Chaeyoung's conversation with Jaehyun replayed in her mind. The way he made her feel so small and insecure.
"What do you think," Chanyeol said smirking. Chanyeol's thought process was since their ex partners are together it would make sense for them to get together to make them jealous.
"No." Chaeyoung scoffed. She grabbed the binder from his hand stacking her belongings together. "For future references, I hope you're on time for our meetings and actually interested in us doing our work. If not i'll talk to Mrs. Lee about getting a new partner. Have a good night Chanyeol."
With that Chaeyoung picked up her bag heading out the library doors.
Chanyeol sat in his seat stunned. He thought he gave Chaeyoung an offer she couldn't refuse. Who wouldn't want to date him?
He took his phone out looking for a new girl he could use as a pawn for his plan.
Joy?
Nayeon?
Yooa?
He shook his head, none of them would fit perfectly like Chaeyoung would.
Chanyeol sent Joy a text anyways to see if she wanted to come over. After his conversation with Mina and Chaneyoung's rejection he was frustrated and had some pent up anger he needed to release.
"Can you believe that?" Chaeyoung bit into her cucumber slice. "Not only did he show up late to our session, but then asks me to be his girlfriend to make his ex girlfriend jealous."
"Don't even get me started on his ego."
Jennie laughed listening to Chaeyoung rant about Chanyeol. Jennie hadn't had too many interactions with Chanyeol despite him being Jongin's best friend because he was always with his girlfriend.
"I don't know Chanyeol that well but every time i've seen him he's been sweet."
"That's because you're his best friend's girlfriend, Jen."
Jennie nodded in agreement before taking a bite of her sandwich.
"I'm so sick of men trying to use me like a toy." Chaeyoung sighed. "Did I tell you Jaehyun had the nerve to ask me to meet with him just to basically shit on me."
