Chanyeol stretched feeling for Chaeyoung's body next to him. He opened his eyes seeing the spot she once was at now empty.
He stood up and stretched before walking towards his living room. Her heard mumbling but couldn't make out what was being said.
"I can't promise you anything I'm busy with school right now." he heard Chaeyoung say.
She went silent so he assumed the person on the other line was talking.
"I think you're the last person I need a lesson on making time for someone from."
Chanyeol turned around and headed back to his bedroom. It sounded like a conversation he shouldn't be listening to.
He laid back in his bed and looked up to his ceiling.
It had been two weeks since his fight with Jaehyun. He got suspended from two games and tomorrow nights game would be his returning game. Once his dad found out what happened he was pissed. He threatened to take his apartment away, so he could stay home. He also blamed Chaeyoung for his actions. He knew he had to be on his a-game for tomorrow night because his dad would most likely be in attendance.
Chaeyoung and him had been in a great spot. Things went back good quicker than Chanyeol thought they would. He felt good about everything this time.
He stopped communication with Mina for good this time. She had been texting him and calling him, but he never responded. He didn't even feel an ounce of guilt about it either.
"You're up," Chaeyoung said in a question like tone.
Chanyeol nodded his head before opening his arms so she could lay back down with him. "Everything okay?"
Even though they were in a good place again Chanyeol knew there was something Chaeyoung wasn't telling him about the relationship she had with her mom. Every time he brought up parents or tried to ask her about her mom Chaeyoung immediately shut down.
He didn't mind though and planned to wait patiently until she felt the time was right.
Chaeyoung laid next to him. She buried her head in the crook of his shoulders before wrapping in her arms around her body. Chanyeol pulled the blanket over both of them.
"Everything's fine just my mom calling."
"I know I heard," Chanyeol said causing Chaeyoung to look up at him before her eyes drifted off to look out his windows.
"When I woke up I didn't see you so I went out to look for you and seen you on the phone. I went back in the room I didn't really hear anything."
Chaeyoung nodded her head. She felt the brim of her eyes fill up with tears, so she quickly closed them before burying her head back in Chanyeol's shoulders.
Chanyeol felt liquid running on his bare shoulder and he knew it was from Chaeyoung's tears. He looked at the time seeing the clock read four a.m.
He wrapped his arms around her torso bringing her in closer. "Why don't we go back to bed," he asked. "We have two more hours before we have to be up for school."
