Chaeyoung eyes fluttered open. She let out a groan before straightening her arms. She looked down at her legs seeing she slept with jeans on which was why she was so uncomfortable.
Before she could sit up she felt an arm wrap around her waist pulling her back down.
Her body got on edge but quickly relaxed after realizing it was Chanyeol. He buried his head in her chest and his arms wrapped around her waist that was exposed from her sweater rising.
They laid asleep on the couch. The girl talk board game still out and two plates with frosting were close by.
Chaeyoung closed her eyes and allowed herself to relax in Chanyeol's embrace. To allow herself to believe what they were doing was real and not fake.
She tried to go to sleep again until she heard the buzz that woke her up in the first place. She reached for her phone off the table seeing a few text from Jennie and a few instagram notifications.

Chaeyoung smiled to herself. Chanyeol had been the only person other than Jennie to ever care about her birthday. She never told him and didn't know how he found out, but he still put effort in to do something nice for her.
She slowly wrapped her arm around him and shut her eyes falling asleep in his embrace.
"Chaeng," she heard Chanyeol whisper.
She attempted to roll over but he held her tightly in his arms.
"Wake up."
She opened her eyes to see their face inches away. Their position had changed while they slept. Originally in a hugging position, now Chaeyoung laid on top of Chanyeol with her legs on either side of him.
