Chanyeol let out a soft groan while peeling his eyes open. His limbs cracked as he stretched not recognizing the room he was in.
He looked down to see he was still fully clothed and laying on the ground. He looked behind him to see a blonde figure laying in the bed sleeping.
Parts of last night came back to him. He remembered asking to use Chaeyoung's bathroom and then watching netflix with her. He also remembered arguing with Mina at the party. He rubbed his hand down his face before getting up and stretching once again. He checked his phone to see a few social media notifications, two miss calls from Mina, and a 'you up' text from Jongin.
He looked at Chaeyoung who was still sound asleep. He didn't bother to wake her up and quietly exited her room. He remembered barely talking to her last night, but oddly enough he was still comfortable around her.
After shutting her door he looked to see Jongin in the kitchen eating.
"Don't even start," Chanyeol said after seeing the grin Jongin wore.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Nothing happened we were just watching Netflix and fell asleep."
"Netflix, huh?" Jongin said patting Chanyeol back.
"Can we get out of here. We have practice in an hour if you've forgotten."
"Oh shit," Jongin jumped up from the stool he was sitting on and shoved the rest of the croissant in his mouth. "Let me tell Jen."
Chanyeol watched Jongin rush into Jennie's room before pulling his phone out to text Mina he was asleep when she called.
He knew he was doing a poor job in putting distance between them, but he couldn't help it.
He slipped his phone back in his pocket hearing footsteps coming out of Jennie's room.
"Jen is going to drop us off at my car. Taemin found my keys."
Chanyeol felt his pocket vibrate. He knew it was Mina texting him back, but he didn't want to text her back around Jongin. If he caught him he knew he would get a lecture about moving on.
Chanyeol was shocked to see the amount of people who were up and walking around the girls dorm building. They got a few stares from people which was normal for Chanyeol.
After playing varsity at Stark for four years he was use to the stops and stares. Stark football team was nationally known thanks to Chanyeol. Ranking number one in the country, Chanyeol was seen as the small towns saving grace.
With still one more semester left in the school year, Chanyeol received many scholarship offers from multiple universities. His plan had always been to go to a school decided on by him and Mina.
