I Still Love Her

Brandon's POV

Business meetings have always been a bore to me. Sitting here going over documents and the never ending negotiations at Haynes & Robinson Technologies just made my thoughts drift to somewhere else or someone I should say. Seeing Danielle again has made me realize how much I still love her and miss her. I was such a fool to let her go and now I'm more miserable than I have ever been. I just need to talk to her and at least get her to hear me out.

Just the thought of her being with Austin made me so furious I couldn't think straight. Then this fool had the audacity to threaten me, he seriously has me f**cked up. Now I just need to find a way to get Danielle alone and get her to hear me out and get his dumbass out the way. There was no way I was going to let Danielle marry him. I know deep down she still has feelings for me. I just need to convince her that I've changed and become a better man. A love like ours doesn't just go away so easily.

Now I just need to have a talk with Natalie and get her to see that things aren't working out with us and hopefully we can part ways peacefully. I mean I'm not a fool I know she has been cheating on me, I just never cared enough to find out. Maybe I can hire a private detective to get me concrete proof to get her to agree with the divorce.

While I was deep in my thoughts, Terrence tapped me on the shoulder and gave me a concerned look to see if I was alright. I just nodded and let him know I'm good and we can talk later. I know Terrence is not gonna be happy with my decision to get Danielle back considering everything I put her through. But it's my decision and I'm gonna get the woman I love back no matter what. As far as Austin he will just have to step aside. I'm not gonna give him an option but to do just that.

As we finished signing the last of the paperwork, there was a knock on the conference door that alerted us from their secretary.

"Excuse me I'm sorry to interrupt your meeting Mr.Haynes, but Mr. Mckinley, your wife is on line one and says it's urgent she speak with you." I thanked her and excused myself from the other gentlemen and picked up the receiver to speak with Natalie.

"Hey Natalie, what's wrong?"

"Nothing baby I just missed you and wondered when you were coming back to the hotel?"

"Miss you to baby and I'm almost done here should be back in a couple of hours. I thought you were going shopping and sight seeing today?"

"Aww baby I'm tired of doing all that. I miss my husband and thought maybe we could have a romantic dinner and some alone time tonight, It's been a long time since we made love and I miss us being together like we use to and it'll give us time to talk things out between us, what do you say?"

"Sure why not, I'll wrap up things here and be back as soon as I can okay?"

"Okay baby see you soon, Love you."

"Love you too, Bye."

After hanging up with Natalie, Terrence came over to check and see if everything was alright.

"Everything good man?"

"Yeah she just wanted to know when I'll be back at the hotel, she wants to go out to dinner tonight."

"Oh okay, but I was talking about earlier, you seemed to be deep in your thoughts and not at all focused on the meeting."

"Yeah I need to tell you something T and I need your help, but this stays between us alright?"

"Yeah I won't say anything.'

"Well I decided to get Danielle back man, I realized that I made a stupid mistake when I let her go but I still love her and I want her back."

"Man are you serious right now, please tell me this is a joke?"

"Nah man I'm dead serious, I made a mistake in marrying Natalie and letting Danielle go, that's why I need your help in helping me with my divorce from Natalie?"

"Brandon do you hear yourself,after everything you put that woman through, now you want her back? Smh you are a piece of work B and what makes you think that Danielle is gonna take you back, Not to mention she is engaged to Austin King."

"How did you know about that, I never told you about Danielle's engagement."

"You didn't have to, I ran into Danielle a couple of days ago after our last business meeting. She was coming out of the bridal shop and we chatted for awhile and she told me about her engagement to Austin King."

"Well I can't let that happen I know there is still something there between us, those feelings just don't go away with what me and Danielle had. Once I talk to her and we straighten everything out then we can reconcile and rekindle what we had."

"Brandon man do you hear yourself,You cheated on her with her best friend and got Natalie pregnant and then publicly humiliated her by announcing your divorce and engagement while still married to her! That's not something that's easy to forgive and forget not to mention Natalie is not gonna just let you go without putting up a fight and Austin is not someone you want to mess with B."

"Am I supposed to be scared, look man I know I messed up bad but I can fix this and I want Danielle back. I'll handle Austin just leave him to me, but will you help me or not with my Divorce from Natalie?"

"Brandon you know I got your back man but I think your making a big mistake going after Danielle, plus getting on Austin King's bad side can be bad for us business as well as personal wise. Just please think about this before you find yourself in some real trouble that you don't need because of your emotions."

"There's nothing to think about. I'm getting Danielle back and that's final, just draw up the divorce papers for me will you and also hire a private detector to get me concrete evidence of Natalie cheating,that way if she tries to fight the divorce I'll have proof as to why the marriage failed."

"Sure B, but it's your funeral."

With that said it was time to put my plan in effect to get my woman back, far as Austin he could go to hell. Danielle will be mines.

Brandon needs psychiatric help. Like seriously he feels like Danielle will literally forgive his indiscretions. But I don't know tell me your thoughts in the comments.
