Jen POV

It's time to eat and I haven't seen Elijah all day, but that's not saying much because we don't even have the same schedule. Like, not one class together or close. I walk in the lunch room to see the whole group there plus someone else. Wonder who that is. I walk up and sit down next to Alex, who looks like she is about to fight someone. "You ok?" I ask "When am I ever she says being perfectly fine causing me to giggle, "But seriously, are you ok? You look like you want to fight someone." I say "Samantha Seabury being stupid again, people getting on me for being gAy, and people just being arrogant." She says "So, the normal?" I ask "The normal" she says.

I look over to the new kid, "Hey, I'm Jennifer Laurens" I say to him, "Like the actor?" He asks genuinely confused. Alex starts laughing super hard, "Is she ok?" the new guy asks "Yea- Yea- I asked the same thing when I asked her so I thought it was hilarious that you asked the same thing." she says once she calms down. "Oh well ok, I'm Marcus Lewis. Bet none of y'all are named after a historical figure." He says. We just look at him

"Ok FIRST OFF-"

"Can y'all stop?!" Marcus says. We all shut up. "Just tell me your names, that would be much easier." "Alexandra Hamilton, my name is Alexandra Hamilton and there's a million things I haven't done." Alex says. I'm honestly not surprised that's how she introduced herself. "Are you being serious?" He asks "Yup!" She says "I'm very happy with what has just happened," he says smiling "this can't get better." "On that note," I say smiling huge "YO WHAT TIME IS IT?" I yell loud enough for the whole cafeteria to hear,

"SHOW TIME-"

"NO NO NO NOT THE THEATER KIDS AGAIN-"

"SUMMERTIME, IT'S OUR VACATION-"

Fills the cafeteria, causing our whole table to burst out laughing, "Well, I'm Jen Laurens in the place to be, with two pints of Sam Adams, but I'm working on three!" I saw causing Marcus to get even more excited he turns to Laf, "So are you-" "Oui Oui mon ami je m'appelle Lafeyette" says Laf "and you areeee?" Marcus asks Harley "I'm Harley Mulligan, yes I know what Hamilton is just like these idiots, I'm just not in the singing mood. But I bet they are." She says looking at the Schuylers. "Really?" He says looking at them. Alex and I look at each other, "Work work!" We say at the same time "Angelo" "Work work!" "Elijah" "AND PERCY!" "Work work!" "The Schuyler brothers!" Laf and Harley sing at the end. "I love this friend group so much and I just met y'all." Marcus says causing Elijah to blush a little- WAIT WHAT?!
