Alex POV

We walk into the airport and sit next to the gate 4 entrance. I wonder who we're here for, "Flight from St. Kitts has landed at gate 4." Phillipa POV

"We have now landed in Brooklyn, New York. Please grab your bags from the compartments above your head and head off the plane." The flight attendant says. I stand up, grab my backpack that was at my feet, throw it on my back, and walk off the plane. As I walk out of the gate entrance I start looking around frantically, trying to find them, and then I make eye contact with Alexandra. I walk a little closer to Alex and who I think is her adoptive mother- no our adoptive mother is holding her phone up like she's recording. I walk closer, and the closer I get the closer to tears falling I become. Once we both process what's happening we start running closer to each other. We crash into each other's arms and start crying. She was holding my head to her shoulder and had her other arm wrapped around my body. "I will NEVER leave you alone like that ever again. I love you so so so much." She says while kissing the top of my head. I missed her so much. Her and James were like my older siblings, then James went to St. Kitts and we haven't seen his since. Once we stop hugging Mrs. Washington says "We should go get in the car and get home. Phillipa, I've got a surprise for you back at home." "O-ok" I say with a small smile.
