Chapter 3

Sunday after the group left

Jaileigh and her Dad were going out to eat and talk about everything.

"What you want to eat princess", He asked his daughter, pulling out the driveway.

"Coaxums please Daddy", She mentioned her favorite restaurant, she tried to go there atleast once a month.

"Ok babygirl", The drive was silent knowing there dinner would be full of conversation.

Jaileigh made tiktoks with her dad while he was driving. Coach Davis may be a strict parent but he was open to everything when it came to his daughter. It was whatever she wanted..most times.

Jaileigh's mom was enlisted in the Army, so she was in Iraq working. That's why Jai was with her Dad. Her parents divorced before she was born, she'd always lived in separate homes. So this was no different, she wouldn't move this time tho.

"Jai you talked to your mom", William still cared about his ex-wife. He would always love her.

"Yesterday morning, She said she coming back by my birthday", She expressed looking at her Dad.

"Good that's good", He nodded as they road in a comfortable silence.

At Coaxum's

"A table for two please", William said.

The waitress nodded grabbing two menus, guiding them to there booth.

"Follow me please", She said. The three walked to the table. It was set off tucked away, near a window. Jai loved windows. She always sat near windows in school. She had to force Nyouri to sit next her in every class. He was her only friend in most of her classes.

"Thank you", William and Jaileigh said simultaneously, sitting down. William sat on the side where he could see the entrance, everyone coming in and leaving. Jai sat opposite of him obviously.

"Enjoy", The waitress, Claire, said. Jai had seen her face a couple times in school and here. She was a senior who had a baby last year.

"You know what you getting Sweetheart", William asked his daughter, as he gazed over the menu.

"I'm getting the 'Gullah Vegan Bowl', with a side of salmon. Can we get starter Daddy?, She always would throw in Daddy whenever she wanted something. She also called her father Dad, or Papa.

"Yeah get what you want", He didn't care. William was a wealthy man, who had a business in stocks, making millions a year. Very well respected in Georgia and Florida. Being a football Coach was a hobby. Half the money he made for that went to Jaileigh's College funds. The rest went to the football players. No matter how good or bad they play, they all get atleast 308 dollars at the end of the year. He only gave it to the Group of Juniors and seniors. The others would have to wait.

"Hello, My name is Danny, I'll be your server, Can I get you all started with some drinks", He said staring down Jaileigh who was oblivious to the man 21 year old. William took note, and started to speak.

"She's 16, please walk away and get us a new server", He spoke calmly. He knew his daughter was an extremely pretty girl. It came from having a fine ass Daddy and a sexy ass momma as Jada would say.
