Napansin ko ang malalim na paghinga ni Elisse habang naupo sa dating upuan niya si Nicole. Nasa office ni Alexandrite kami at hindi ko alam kung bakit ako ay kasama sa pag uusap nilang kapatid

"I admire how you portray me, my dear sibling. You actually did so well, Ate" nakangiting sambit ni Nicole. Elisse flashed a small smile "It's the only thing I could do. Nacoma ka and I know we had to postpone your reveal. I had to make sure your plans would be continuous" sagot nito

Alexandrite nodded "Very well then, Ate Alexandria. I should give you the smuggling business for that" ani nito, making her eyes widen

"What...? But isn't that your forte? Gun smuggling is yours!"

"I'll deal with the gambling and stuff. Do not worry about it, Ate" Nicole then turned to me "Francine, I heard a lot about you"

I gulped "I-I hope it was good stuff... Alexandrite..."

"Actually, mostly a lot of them is stupid. You know, wasting some of my money, opening contracts with pathetic fools, etc. I commend you dealing with Naomi but I do not commend you after looking at the history of my bank account" Bigla naman niyang hinampas ang lamesa niya at tinignan ako. I could see how she was raging in anger

"That's enough, Alexandrite, it was my fault" pagpigil ni Elisse sa kanya. Nicole rolled her eyes "Of course you would protect your girlfriend, for fuck's sake" naiinis na ani nito, making both of our eyes widen. Kumunot naman ang noo ni Elisse habang ako ay napaiwas ng tingin

Such a sight made her anger calm down as she laughed at our faces "You guys are blushing! God, you look like a tomato" she cackled. Napayuko na lamang ako. She really is a psycho

"If you don't have anything to say, we best be on our way para makapagpahinga ka at makapagpahinga na rin si Francine. I've given her a hard time" ani ni Elisse at hinatak ako palabas ng opisina ni Alexandrite, ignoring her sister's side comments

She sighed "I'm so sorry about this, Cine. I didn't realize the aftermath of her coma. Anyways, you should rest na. You will use my room for now since I will be busy taking care of Alexandrite and I know Naomi would be giving you a hard time" wika ni Elisse

Tumango na lamang ako. Alam kong pagod na rin siya. After all, she's been portraying Nicole, dealing with their businesses and looking after her sister. It was a sign of disrespect to her that I would use her room but I was still shaken at everything

I could deal with Naomi if she ever strikes back. However, masakit pa rin ang pagkakabaril niya sa akin at gusto kong magpahinga. I am mentally and physically exhausted

"Alright, maiwan na muna kita. I have to talk to her doctors" aniya at umalis na sa harapan ko. I sighed at naglakad na papunta sa kwarto niya. It was too much for my body to handle

Napansin ko naman ang pamilyar na pigura ni Naomi na nakasandal sa pader "I guess you're not under her protection now huh?"

I tch-ed. Ano na naman ang gusto niyang palabasin? Nakakainis na siya ha. I smirked at her "The mighty Gaia looking pathetic for a kill. Masyado ka nang agresibo, hindi maganda yan"

Tinulak niya ako sa pader at idinikit ang matalim na parte ng kutsilyo as I chuckled "Barely two words in and you already look like you want me dead" I snickered as I watched her face twitch in annoyance

"You're getting all worked up over nothing. You changed, you're getting weak" dagdag ko habang diniinan niya pa ang matalim na kutsilyo

"Such confidence, although foolishly played for someone who's going to be dead so soon" sagot ni Naomi sa akin. I smirked more "Foolishly played? You are raging in anger dahil lang sa kanya. How fucking ironic, Naomi" pagwiwika ko

"Don't you fucking dare mock me, you fool. I can kill you right in front of me. I didn't hesitate when I shot you back then hindi ba? Even in close combat, I can fucking win over you"

Napalingon kami sa babaeng sumigaw. It was Zemirah at kasama niya sina Ada at Alexis. They broke us apart, Ada holding me while Zemirah holding her. Namagitan naman sa amin si Alexis

"Can you stop fighting?! Nabawasan na nga tayo tapos magiging ganyan pa kayo!" sigaw ni Alexis sa amin

"What the fuck is going on here?!" nanggagalaiting sigaw ni Alexandrite na kakadating lamang kasama si Summer
