•Skelton's Perspective•

Darkness is All I see as I'm six feet underground. Dead, unable to move. Bugs and worms crawl over me for I am no more than a Skelton. All I remember from the world above is the burning flames that scarred my skin for that is always on my mind. I know neither what happened or when. When I first got here I didn't even know my name until I listened closely to the voices above.
Apparently my name was John Taylor
At least that's what they say the people who I don't know. One voice in particular caught my attention as I learned what exactly happened to me.

"Can't believe it that your actually dead now Johnny, but I'm sure glad they were able to catch the crazy girl. She's bound to rot in that prison cell which does I I dead helps puts my mind at ase more than anything now a days. I miss ya John."

I don't even know their name, yet they've given me all the information that I needed. It wasn't an accident, my death. Someone had the want to kill me and succeeded, yet I don't know her name or the motive. Likely, I never will. What could I have done that she believed I deserved this as a punishment? This loneliness, coldness, agonizing place for I am alone with only thoughts as I don't get to hear the voices often and it feels as ages pass by before they come back.

I remember all they have said for that is all I can think of besides the flames. As time passes on though the voices that had come every once awhile had stopped all together, so now I'm truly alone forever and ever in this darkness.

The curse of the Skelton is that your mind will be trapped in your corpse for a thousand years to pay for the wrongs you've committed. In John Taylor's case his crime was abusing his daughter to the point she went insane. When the girl turned twenty-six of age, she ignited a fire while he was sleeping peacefully.
