Sua's arms were lazily wrapped around your shoulders as you sat between her legs on the floor, watching intently as Jiu ran through her individual section of your upcoming unit stage.

You leaned back against her, finding comfort in her soft embrace. For the time being, it distracted you from the worry you were feeling.

The second oldest was privy to your nervousness, and that's precisely why she was there. She could've taken the day off, but she wanted to come and support you.

"You're gonna do great," she assured, as the music began to wind down.

Jiu was approaching her ending pose when an uneasy sigh slipped past your lips.

"I hope so."

As always, your girlfriend did incredible. From start to finish, she commanded the room with such graceful power that everyone found themselves enraptured. She only made a couple of small errors, and she immediately corrected them so as to avoid repeating them again in the future. How she made it all look so easy, you would never understand.

"Thank you, everyone. Good work!" She said with a smile, once everyone began to clap for her.

They all humbly bowed to one another before beginning to disperse for a short break. After grabbing a towel that one of the staff had set out for her, she turned around and made her way over to the two of you.

"You did good out there, sexy," Sua playfully flirted, wiggling her eyebrows.

Jiu grimaced and stuck her tongue out in response, though she couldn't help but laugh, too. She lightly flicked her on the forehead before reaching her hands out to you.

You took them, smiling at how soft they were in your own, and allowed her to pull you to your feet. She wasted no time in wrapping her arms around you, offering her warm and safe embrace to sink into.

"How are you feeling, jagi?"

Her voice was soft in your ear, and her hands rubbed comforting patterns on your back. Heat radiated from her skin, and you could feel her chest still rising a little faster than normal; her shirt clung to her curves in a beautiful way.

"I'm alright," you fibbed, hoping that if you said it enough you'd start to believe it yourself.

She could tell something was definitely off. You'd been in your head all day, and a bit more distant than normal. When the eight of you went out for breakfast earlier that morning you weren't as lively as usual and you didn't talk very much.

And anytime you were worried about something, you chose to deal with it on your own and retreat into yourself in an attempt to find a solution that way. Reaching out for help wasn't usually your first instinct, and she knew that. So, of course, seeing it happen again right before her eyes brought out her concern not only as your leader, but also your girlfriend.
