Chapter Eight: A Little More You

Me and Steph were as shocked as each other finding out we were related. I mean what a coincidence that we had so much in common. There is more positives though, i now have a sister who i can talk to and go to for help, we are both dating the McDonough boys, well Connor and Riley. We like spending time together and i can rely on her. I now know i have a dad.

But on the downside, me and my mom still haven't talked or made up. I don't know whether to, she made me miss out on years of me not seeing or knowing about my sister, i missed out on quality sister time. I always used to draw drawings when i was younger, with just me and my mom. But, it wasn't just me and my mom, was it?

I woke up in Rileys arms still, at 9:45am, he was still asleep, i got up and headed downstairs. Slowly lifting his arm up trying not to disturb him as he was shattered.

I creeped downstairs trying not to wake anyone else. No one else was up yet, but for some reason i was so thirsty my throat was so dry. I grabbed a glass of water and just sat at the breakfast bar and drank it slowly, quenching my thirst.

I sat there thinking of how lucky and greatful i am, for Riley and his family and everything they have ever done for me. Also, the fact that i now know i have a sister and i'm not alone.

I sat there alone, until Riley comes downstairs and puts his hands on my shoulders. He asked if i wanted breakfast, then he was like 'You better check your blood sugar levels first though'. I got up, got my glucose meter and checked my sugar levels, i pricked my finger tested it and i was all good.

Riley said, 'okay so, how about some pancakes then?' I agreed who couldn't its pancakes?

After 5 minutes, Connor and Toby must've smelt the pancakes as they came downstairs. Connor said to Riley 'Can we have some dude, if you're making some' Riley said,'Okay, sure thing'.

Riley made pancakes for me, himself, Connor, Toby, and Steph. We all sat around the breakfast bar, 'So, are you guys excited for the All Time Low concert', Toby asks.

Before i got a chance to say anything, Connor was like, 'Omg, dude you don't know how stoked I am to see Alex and the band again!!!' 'Omg, Connor i think you're too excited haha' Riley stated.

By about 3pm, we all went and got ready for the concert, we had to leave pretty soon. I was driving us all there.

The doors opened at 5, but we had to get there first and i'm sure knowing the boys we'd have to go to Starbucks along the way once or twice.

Riley shouted Connor&Steph as we were about to leave. Connor came rushing down the stairs, i'm ready to go, can't leave me behind! Steph then followed.

Riley, Connor&Steph then got into the car where i already was, running the engine raring to go. Riley sat in the passenger seat next to me, putting on the stereo.

Connor and Steph in the back, kissing away and smiling. Riley started singing Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Hereos. He sang so beautifully! Then Connor started singing with Riley. Me and Steph were laughing at how crazy they were.

'Starbucks, pull over!' Riley shouted, i knew they'd wanna go. I pulled into the parking lot and found a space, they quickly jumped out of the car, the usuals they asked, 'Of course!' Steph replied. 'Okay, won't be long then'.

They ran inside Starbucks, and seconds later they came back with our drinks, they weren't wrong, they weren't long. Probably got there orders memorised for whenever they came in.

I pulled out of the parking lot and i continued to drive us to the concert. The sun was so bright and pretty today, Riley, Connor and Steph put on their sunglasses whilst the sun was out. Riley grabbed mine from the glove box and placed them onto my face.

We were nearly here.

I turned into where the venue was. All of a sudden, Connor jumped immediately out of car after seeing Alex. I had only stopped for a minute to try and find a space.

Steph got out and followed him, Riley also got out, i told him, i would meet them inside once i got us a parking space.

'Alex!!! It's me Connor like you're number one fan! Can you sign this for me? Haha, hey dude, sup?'

'Oh hey, mann! I'm great thanks! Nice seeing you again, it's been so long!'

'Yeah, like forever. This is my girlfriend Stephy'

'Oh, Hey Stephy! Nice meeting you!'

'Hey! Nice meeting you too!'

I found a space, parked the car and they were still talking to Alex. I walked over, and Riley introduced me to Alex.

'Hey, Alex this is also my girlfriend Hallie!'

'Hey, nice meeting you also!'

'Hey, you too!'

'Wow, you two have girlfriends now, when i last saw you guys, you were single with a million screaming fans wanting you to be their soldier, aww its cute you guys, you're like my little brothers. I feel so old, being 20, haha.'

'hahaha'

We all stood around for a while, laughing at Alex and how mad Connor was being, he was fangirling, haha.

Then Alex had to go as he still had to get changed for the show.

Riley grabbed my waist and kissed me.

'Come on love birds wouldn't wanna miss the concert, you know?', Connor eagerly said, hinting at us to hurry up as he just wanted to get inside and see the concert.

Then Riley&Me were holding hands on the way into the concert, just like Steph&Connor.

Tonight was just going to be an amazing night, i could already tell.
