After her knighting ceremony, there was no time to lose and Daliss was already preparing for the next mission. She went from one thing to the other so fast it was like the knighthood ceremony didn't even happen... They're going to attack and capture the main base that was used during the battle of Ayro, Greene tower, and bomb and destroy the trenches that the separatists have been occupying while they're caught up in the coming assault. This attack will be on a very large scale and it will be a very risky one, but if they succeed, it will pin general Keth to the northern beaches and cut him off from Ayro completely.
Unfortunately, Daliss had left the fortress with Todak before she could see Wac again. It's very disappointing but she will manage, because the next battle will be keeping her well occupied. Instead of her usual sky drop, Daliss rode into the next mission inside of a heavy armored transport tank. They stormed an abandoned town that had been taken over by separatist forces, and its civilian population evacuated over a year ago, and now it is a wartorn battlefield. The tanks bore through the defenses and what used to be houses and then an air strike hit them hard as the clone troopers spill out and began to assault the rest. The B1s are destroyed very quickly, but the B2s defending the town begin to put up a fight. Daliss does her work, destroying as many droids as possible with cover fire from her troops. The droid numbers are dropping quickly, with another situation wherein the clones outnumber them. It's beginning to become clear that the separatist resources for the Dofom campaign are dwindling.
The mission is going smoothly, until Weiyun appears. She boldly makes her presence known to Daliss specifically, to steal her attention from the rest of the battle. She attacks Daliss head on, and the young knight blocks her strike as the dark deciple pushes her back with a wicked grin. She hadn't had much time to think about Weiyun's turn to the dark side, but Daliss was still hurt and confused by it. It is scary for Daliss to think about, that the woman she grew up around and who was trained by her own master fell to the darkness. Daliss can't help but fear that Weiyun is a glimpse into her dark future... The two clash sabers in a heated battle, and rain begins to fall as they fight in the streets among the colliding forces of droids and clone troopers. Daliss has grown a lot since she fought Weiyun and they're close to equal, but Todak's fallen apprentice is still better than the Jedi.
"You'll never be strong enough!" Weiyun says with a cackle in the middle of battle.

Daliss doesn't respond but just tries to hold her own. She can't beat Weiyun in a fight, but if she can stall her long enough, she'll be surrounded by clones after the droids are all gone, at least in the area. She finds an opening, and escapes the duel to get Weiyun to chase her - and it works. Daliss leads Weiyun into an empty bar and immediately throws dozens of glass bottles at her with the force. It was evidently a great idea, because Weiyun couldn't stop all of them, and gets bludgeoned. The bottles she does manage to cut with her lightsaber burst and cut her up - and finally Weiyun cuts a bottle that is still full of alcohol and it explodes. She is stunned and Daliss seizes the opportunity to force push her with all she's got, and blasts Weiyun through two tables and then through the door, where she tumbles in the streets. Daliss immediately pursues, not wanting to lose sight of Weiyun, but the dark deciple seems to have disappeared in the streets... And suddenly, just like in the city and in the battle of Ayro, Daliss feels that bone chilling touch and everything goes black... It's different this time though, instead of freezing in place or blacking out, Daliss enters a dream.
"Why do you fight it?" Weiyun spoke from the shadows, nowhere to be seen. "Why do you fight the darkness within?"

Daliss is just confused by that question, not really knowing what Weiyun is talking about. She does not respond, but desperately tries to break herself free of this mind game. But then, the Jedi feels another touch, this one on her cheek. It's got an eerie warmth to it. A warmth that Daliss craves...
"You can have everything you want..." Weiyun says from behind, her hand stroking Daliss' cheek down to her neck. "The order will restrict you from all that you desire... Love, passion... Lust..."

Daliss pulls away suddenly and screams briefly, and doesn't see Weiyun anywhere. She doesn't see anything, not even her own hands in front of her face...
"The darkness is where you can fulfill all of your wildest dreams..."

Then, lost in the shadows, Daliss feels that warm touch on her cheek, it feels like Weiyun is standing right in front of her. But not the dark deciple Weiyun, the one Daliss has always known...
"Be not afraid, Daliss..." Weiyun says warmly, another hand finding Daliss' waist. "Come with me, and you can have everything you want..."

Suddenly, like a burst of flame, Daliss opens her eyes and snaps out of the darkness. Weiyun is so close, holding onto the knight... Though Weiyun is hooded and blindfolded, a look of shock is clearly fixed on her face... Daliss pushes away from the fallen Jedi and leaps backwards in a graceful backflip. Her lightsaber which she must have dropped flies to the Jedi's hand and she takes an offensive stance in the rain.
"You asked why I fight it?!" Daliss says with righteous fury in her voice. "My duties as a Jedi are more important to me than my desires!"

Weiyun's shock becomes frustration and she ignites her red lightsaber again.
"I can still kill you...!" She snarled angrily.

"Maybe so..." Daliss answered, not budging. "But you can't destroy who I am!"

Weiyun and Daliss burst forth towards each other and clash in the middle of the streets. Daliss feels stronger than ever while Weiyun is consumed by frustration, and Daliss outwits and beats her back. She kicks Weiyun in the face and knocks her against a wall, as a last resort, Weiyun unleashes a blast of Sith lightning at Daliss, but this time, she stops it with the force. The momentum of the blast pushes Daliss back a few feet, but she summons all of the strength she has and throws the lightning back at Weiyun. She is blown away and the wall behind the dark deciple is obliterated in a small explosion.
After the fight, Weiyun was nowhere to be found, meaning she's still alive somewhere. She must have escaped in the smoke left behind from the explosion. Though Weiyun was defeated and driven off, the battle was not yet over. But Daliss regrouped with her troops and they secured victory in the next hour. Now, the board is set for the next big battle in the Dofom campaign.

The rain never stopped, and Daliss got all muddy and scrapped up from her fight against Weiyun. She's gotten used to it now though, it doesn't bug her anymore. Daliss is patrolling around the area as the troops set up a temporary outpost to prepare for the next assault. Helping out wherever she can and giving orders where she needs to. All of her responsibilities of being a knight came so fast that she doesn't even have time to take it all in, leaving her with a feeling of dissatisfaction. Like it wasn't much of an accomplishment... But all of her worries were suddenly swept away when Daliss saw an unforgettable face showing up at the outpost. She runs over and jumps at Wac to hug him, nearly knocking the trooper over.
"Missed me, huh kid?" Wac says, chuckling. "Its only been a day."

"Infatti!" She says. "But so much has happened since then! I'm a knight now and I beat the evil Jedi."

"I read the report on the last mission." Wac answered, walking into the outpost with Daliss. "It sounds impressive."

"Mia, it was hard." She said, reflecting on what was a rather terrifying experience. "She nearly had me... With some kind of mind tricks..."

"How'd you end up beating her?" He asked.

"Well... I just thought about master Todak, and you..." Daliss looks bashful. "You have all done so much to get me where I am now, I couldn't let you down and fail then."

As it turned out, a very complex biomechanical computer chip was inside of Wac's head, and it is something that is inside of every clone trooper. And Wac's chip was damaged by Weiyun's Sith lightning which is what caused him the migraines. Upon examination the medical droid could figure out that it was some sort of highly advanced behavioral inhibitor chip, but it is very intricately encrypted, and decoding it is far beyond the capabilities of the medical droid. For further investigation, Todak had the chip sent to a lab in Coruscant in hopes of getting to the bottom of it.
