As the Days Go by

As the days go by, I grow weaker

I cannot walk by myself

As the days go by, I grow sadder

I cannot cry by myself

Can you lend me strength, can you lend me help?

Can you walk with me, can you cry with me?

Can you carry me?

When you left me here,

it felt like my heart was being torn in two

You left me here by myself

You left me here all alone

If you were here,I could walk, I could cry

Cause as the days go by, I grow weaker

And as the days go by, I grow sadder

If you were here with me,

I'm sure I would not be feeling this way at all

I grow happier knowing that you were with me,

even if it was for just a short time

I feel happy

No one could replace you, not that I would even try

Nothing can change the fact that you are really gone

I cannot change a thing

You were the love of my life,

and now you are gone for good,

taken away from me

I cannot tell you how sad I am

Cause I love you,

and I know that You love me

But you're not here,

and I have to remind myself every day

As the days go by, I understand

Things happen for a reason,

and even though I may not accept it,

I now understand that you're gone,

and you're not coming back

But I gotta move on

I've gotta try new things

You were the love of my life,

and now you're truly gone

But now as the days go by, I understand everything

I will not stop loving you

I will always want you

I will love you, as the days go by
