A venomous snake slithers in the grass,
while the child's mother collects sweet
sweet honey for herself.
The baby, cradled in a basket, cries as
the snake comes closer.
The mother drops the honey and shoos
the pest of a snake away.
He will have to wait for winter to thaw
before he tries again.
