I see you there, being a human.

I watch you as you fall asleep.

I get jealous when you hug that cat,

that small, black, lovable cat.

Yes, I admit, he's lovable.

But notice me and love me.

If you know I am here, would you be scared?

You are afraid of other humans,

you do not think you are one yourself.

You spend more time with that cat

than you do with actual people!

Come, to me, cub, and I will comfort you.

Yes, you are my cub.

I see you in skin and human clothes,

but I know you belong with a tail

and black, orange, and white fur.

Come to me, cub, and belong in life.

You are out of place, you feel like,

that no one will understand you.I

understand. I understand, my little tiger cub.
