Chapter Thirteen
—Y/n's POV—
*You had just told Gareth that you don't think that Eddie loves you*
"What are you talking about Y/n?" Gareth asked me.
"On our date I could tell that his mind wasn't fully there. And the necklace he gave me doesn't even say 'I love you' or anything along those lines" I told Gareth.
"Y/n... I'm sure Eddie loves you" he told me.
"He has been starring at Chrissy a lot recently. Please Gareth... I need to know" I said to Gareth.
"What do you even want me to ask him?" Gareth asked me.
"Ask him 'Y/n or Chrissy' and then depending on what he says we'll know if he loves me. Please do this Gareth, I need to know..." I asked Gareth.
"Fine, I will, but only because I want to prove you wrong" Gareth said while laughing.
*Everyone's classes ended and you all headed to the cafeteria. Now in the cafeteria, you sat down next to Eddie and started braiding his hair for fun*
"Eddie what do you think of the braid so far?" I asked Eddie.
"It looks nice Y/n" Eddie said to me.
I looked at Gareth and mouthed for him to ask Eddie, Gareth nodded as I got up from the table and walked far enough away so I could hear what they were saying but they couldn't see me.
—Gareth's POV—
"Hey Eddie" I said to Eddie.
"Yeah?" Eddie asked me.
"Y/n or Chrissy?" I asked Eddie.
"What?" Eddie said to me.
"You know what I said, Y/n or Chrissy" I asked Eddie again.
"Come on man don't answer that" Mike told Eddie.
"I- um" Eddie said.
*You started to walk back over because the cafeteria got to loud where you couldn't hear. Only Dustin spotted you. You walked over from behind Eddie so he couldn't see you. Then Mike saw you*
"It's..." Eddie said before Mike cut him off.
"Eddie I think you should stop-" Mike said before Eddie continued.
"It's Chrissy, it will always be Chrissy. I love her" Eddie told us.
"EDDIE" Mike yelled out at Eddie.
"Congratulations Eddie..." Dustin said to Eddie.
"What? Why-" Eddie said as he turned around and saw Y/n.
"Y/n princess... I didn't mean it like that" Eddie said to Y/n.
"No no, it's okay Eddie, I understand" Y/n said as tears formed in her eyes.
*Everyone sat there in shock, even Gareth*
"I think-" Y/n said before she was cut off by Eddie.
"Y/n no please..." Eddie begged her.
"I think... I think I should go and quit Hellfire" Y/n said as she walked away.
"Shit" I thought to myself.
"Man why couldn't you just shut up" Dustin yelled at Eddie as him and Mike ran out after Y/n.
"Eddie, what the fuck man" I said to Eddie.
*Eddie sat there in shock for the rest of lunch. After lunch Eddie ditched school for the rest of day, but he did plan on coming back for his drug deal that he had planned for later that day*
—Y/n's POV—
*You had just ran out of the cafeteria with Dustin and Mike following after you. You were already crying by the time the two guys caught up to you*
"Y/n!" Dustin yelled out to me.
*You tried to spit out words but before you could you fainted again. Mike was able to reach you just in time so your head didn't hit the floor. Dustin and Mike brought you to the nurse's office. Dustin and Mike stayed with you*
