The next morning...

Leo woke up dazzed and walked to the kitchen where his brothers were sleeping. "Morning 'Nardo." Donnie said. Making himself some cereal to eat. Leo sat down at the table and grabbed a bowl and pourred in his cereal and milk and just started to eat. Not saying anything to his brothers or anyone really. "Is everything alright Leo?" Raph asked putting his bowl down and looking concerned. "Everything is fine..." Leo said chewing on his food. "Are you sure? Something does not seem right." Raph said putting his hand on Leo's shoulder. Leo looked at him and could see his worried expression. Leo's eyes then widened when he saw a couple of frames of Kraang Raph and he immediately fell off his chair. Spilling his cereal. Panic arose in him. "LEO!?" Raph yelled. The brothers gathered around Leo and looked at him worried. Leo snapped back into reality and saw his brothers all worried for him. "Sorry... just..." Leo muttered. "Let me guess... You had a nightmare about what... uhm... happened?" Donnie asked. Trying to not trigger his twin again. Leo simply nodded and looked away. The other bros hugged him. Leo was severely traumatized from all of what has happened. So were the brothers but it was clear that it seemed as if Leo was mostly affected. There can be an assumption that Raph also felt the same like Leo. Both of them locked those traumas away from the others since, Leo did not wanna show he was traumatized or hurt by what happened. Since he does not wanna think about what happened before and he had to be the brave one. Since he is the leader. While Raph is the same with Leo, Raph also locks it in himself because even if he isn't the leader, he is still the oldest. And I mean- if you are the oldest you tend to not want to worry your siblings or family or whatever with your fear and all that.

2 hours later when the family ate breakfast..
Leo was in his room. Trying to read some comics to get his mind off of what he dreamed of last night. He just did not wanna think about it. But while reading, in his mind he remembered some of the scenes that he has had to witness. And he just couldn't deal with it. He groaned in annoyance because he just wanted to get over it but it was impossible. He was absolutely terrified on what happened. He then slapped the comic in his face and fell onto his bed. On the verge of ripping everything near him. Then he noticed his phone buzzing. He took the comic off of his face and took his phone into his hands. He looked to see who it was and saw it was Y/n.

The text message:
"Hey Leonardo! So- one of my friends schedueled that we have dinner together a few days ago however though, they cancelled it the last minute because their mother wants them to stay at home because their cousins will come over. And I already made the reservation and didn't want that the money I use go to waist. All of my other friends are busy and then I thought if you'd like to come? I think wre could maybe disguise you somehow so nobody would suspect an anthro like turtle creature walking around in a restaurant. You in or?"

Leo, after reading that message, smiled and answered Y/n back. "I'm all in! I'll be there soon. See ya~!" Is what his text said. "Great!" Y/n wrote back. Leo smiled so hard and a bit of blush appeared on his face. Finally something that will get his mind off of everything. And he felt his heart racing. He didn't know why but let it go completely.

"Guess who is going out tonight!" Leo yelled to his brothers. "What are you talking about?" Raph asked confused and raising a brow. "Y/n asked if I wanted to go out for dinner because their friend cancelled it at the last minute and now. I can hang out with them/him/her." Leo said with a proud smile. "Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow WAIT." Raph stopped Leo. "Could you give me your phone for a minute." Raph asked Leo politely. "Yeah sure." Leo said handing his phone to Raph. "Wait why-" Leo then suddenly realized he made a mistake. "Wait give me my phone back!" Leo yelled at Raph trying to snatch his phone away from Raph. Though Raph was a lot bigger. He is a snapping turtle and snapping turtles are really strong in real life. Especially in the wild. And then Leo heard Raph press the send button. "Why did you do that!?" Leo snapped at Raph grabbing his phone back. "I'm sorry. I had to. I do not want you to get hurt or even killed..." Raph replied crossing his arms. Leo looked at what Raph wrote to Y/n and he was surprised by what Raph wrote.

The text Raph sent:
"Hey Y/n! It's me Raph. You know? Leo's older brother? Anyways- I found out that you and Leo are gonna go out to a restaurant. Keep Leo out of trouble and do not let him try and harm himself. Make sure nobody notices or sees he is a turtle. Return him back before 8 PM. And make sure he is ALWAYS with you. And REMEMBER. If somebody shows up to harm you guys, call me or one the other guys IMMEDIATELY. I do NOT want something terrible to happen to my brother. Understood?"

"Of course! We are just gonna have dinner and that's all. I'll be sure to call if something happens or whatever. If I need to return Leo earlier let me know." Y/n replied.

Leo was surprised by it. Raph didn't allow Leo to go out on his own due to his fear of Leo getting killed or hurt. He didn't wanna risk it. That's why he became so overly protective of him. And not letting him go out of his sight. Which explains their conflict in a previous chapter before this one. "Wait but I thought...-" Leo was cut off by Raph who then smiled at him. "That's why I want Y/n to make sure you are safe and that nothing goes wrong or something bad to happen to you or even Y/n." Raph said looking over at Leo. "For real!?" Leo said so excited. "Look I'm not gonna treat you like a baby anymore. And think you will just go and kill yourself. I know you aren't THAT insane." Raph added. Leo immediately hugged Raph tightly. "Finally! I've been waiting for this moment my entire life!!" Leo shouted happily. Raph hugged Leo back with a soft smile.

Then Leo suddenly realized something. "Wait what do you mean by I'm not that insane-"
