Actually asking out

Hours turned into days...
Days turned into weeks...
Weeks turned into months...
It has been almost 1 and a half month and there were no signs of Kraang at all. The team was starting to become more and more confussed on what was going on. "Huh... so far no Kraang. That's... kind of strange honestly..." Leo said. Looking down from a building and watching as the cars were going in many directions. People walking, talking, swearing, a bird dying- okay scratch the bird part. But yet. Nothing! Leo had a nagging feeling that something isn't right. "I guess the Kraang gave up huh?" Donnie said. Leo looked over to his bros and friends. "But, why would they already quit? It doesn't make sense." Leo replied. "Yeah. Leo's right. Why would they all of a sudden give up and not attack at all." April added in. "Maybe they are first trying to find the key?" Casey asked, joining in the conversation. "Wait till they find out a certain orange burned it." Y/n said looking over to Mikey. Mikey looked around and then back to y/n. "Could have been anyone." Mikey shrugged. "Yeah sure." Y/n said crossing their/his/her arms. "Maybe we should call it a night?" Donnie said. "Yeah. Nothing is happening at all. So maybe we should just go back to the lair." Raph said back. Leo let out a sighed and walked back to the others. With all of them agreeing to just go home and come back tomorrow.

Leo looked at Y/n with a poker face while they/he/she were looking in the direction they were going in. Leo then looked away. April noticed it and nudged Donnie and Mikey who were in between her. "Am I the only one noticing something weird with those two?" April pointed towards Leo and Y/n with her head and both the brothers looked over to them. "Honestly true." Mikey answered. "He's pretty suspsicious honestly." Donnie added. "Maybe there is something going on with them?" April suggested. "Who knows~" Mikey said with a smirk.

Leo scratched his head a bit while looking away from Y/n. "Hey..." Leo said. "Yeah?" Y/n looked at Leo with their/his/her eyes. "Well... remember when I asked you out on a... date-?" Leo mumbled. But it was loud enough for the others to hear. The eyes widening and turning to look at the both. "Somehow that is a bigger twist then I expected." Donnie said with a blank face with his eyes wide. "Agreed." Casey said. "Okay this was the worst time to say this." Leo said. Leo then grabbed Y/n arm and started to somewhat do a fast walking. "Yeah I think I know another way to the lair so let them get home alone." April said. "Wait! We are letting them go just like that!?" Raph yelled. "Raph. If you are gonna go back to being overprotective of Leo and thinking he is gonna go and kill himself." April said. "Well you know-! Maybe somebody should go with them!" Raph was about to walk into the same direction Leo and Y/n were going but then Mikey grabbed him with his weapon. "Yeah I don't think so." Mikey said. He dragged Raph to the lair with the others and Raph couldn't get of it.

Meanwhile with Leo and Y/n...
Leo was still holding Y/n by the arm and looked over his shoulders. He saw that the others weren't behind them anymore. He slowed down and let go of Y/n's arm. "The hell was that bro-" Y/n said. "Sorry about that." Leo replied. "Anyways so you asked something about how you asked me about asking me out on a date right?" Y/n pointed out. Leo nods while looking away. "Alright what about it?" They/he/she added in. "Well... okay let me properly ask this." Leo sighed. "Y/n. I know we have only been friends for about 2 months or maybe 3 at this point, I can't remember. But... You were honestly a pretty cool person to be around and I enjoyed spending time with you a lot. So, I was wondering if well... You wanted to maybe go on a date if you'd like?" Leo asked softly. Still a bit shy and letting out a small but a cute smile. Y/n a bit blushed at the question and looked away. They/he/she didn't know what to say. "It's fine if you don't wanna hehe..." Leo chuckled. "S-sure-!!" Y/n answered. Leo's eyes went wide and he blushed a lot. "W-what-?" Leo asked softly. "Mhm..." Y/n nodded. Looking away from Leo. "I... don't know what to say..." Silence fell between the two. "How about uhm... saturday at 8 PM? I'll set the date..." Leo said. "Really-?" Y/n said turning their/his/her gaze back at him. Leo nodded. "So... see ya then?" Leo asked. Y/n nodded a simple yes.

The two finally came back to the lair while talking to one and other and laughing. "See. I told you they would be back Raph." April turning her gaze at Raph. Raph looked away. "Still felt like they needed protection." Raph muttered. "Typical." Donnie said. Leo and Y/n chuckled a bit. Leo looked at Y/n one more time. He couldn't believe that he will possibly end up having a boyfriend/girlfriend at some point. He hopes to impress Y/n good. And hopefully nothing goes wrong.

Hopefully at least...
