It is not uncommon for people, especially teenagers and young adults, to get less sleep in one night than the 8 hours of sleep that studies say they need to be fully functional.

Be it for reasons like finishing an incomplete paper before the deadline, getting lost in a phone call, getting stuck on social media, or as in Jennie's case, spending the whole night, once again, between dancing people and drinking a lot of alcohol.

Jennie knew that since the next night was the night to Monday, she would have to enjoy that night again to the fullest.

Which you can definitely say she did.

Not only did the club visit end with Lisa and her killing 2 bottles of Rum together, but also with legs that felt like they were made of jello because of the intense dancing and a loud whistling in her ear when leaving the club that was simply an after effect of the extremely loud music.

But not only the partying Jennie lost several hours of sleep last night, but also Chaeyoung.

The difference, however, was that her good-natured sleep was neglected not because of fine alcohol or dancing to her favorite song, but because of her feelings, which were in pure chaos.

From the one side of her heart, disappointment and sadness over her own, far too easily exploitable acting and thinking shot up.

From the other side came anger and frustration at this little snakey brunette, which inevitably led to both fronts of both types of feelings colliding in the middle, which affected not only Chaeyoung's heart but also her head.

For most of the night, until fatigue finally managed to fight off the nasty and preoccupying thoughts that thundered in her head at full volume, the blonde couldn't sleep a wink.

Her eyelids were held open by the anger and sadness still inside her that she wished she could just block out.

In fact, she wished she could forget that whole night.

Or even better, undo it.

Now, one could say that Chaeyoung got way too much hopes up for Jennie way too quickly.

After all, she only met her that night. So it's not as if Jennie had been sending fake signals to her for months or even years to play with her.

But there is a rule of human nature that not even an innocent teenager like Chaeyoung is above.

You can't control your feelings.

As a result of the short 3 hours of sleep, Chaeyoung was not in the best condition when she opened the door for her best friend Jisoo after the doorbell rang.

Unlike Jisoo, who greeted her with a big, heart-shaped smile on her lips, Chaeyoung's upper body was just covered in another oversized sweater while her pants were simple, black sweatpants.

Sure, Jisoo wasn't wearing a gala dress either, but still, her outfit didn't scream "I'm depressed, but please don't ask why" the way Chaeyoung's did.

"Wow, how much sleep did you get? The last time I saw you this tired was last year after the last night of class camp" Jisoo added to her elongated greeting as she saw the deep, black circles under Chaeyoung's eyes that she had tried to cover with make-up without success.

"Mhh, three, maybe three and a half hours, I don't know" Chaeyoung replied, her voice slightly raspy as she rubbed her eye cutely with the ball of her hand covered a bit by the too-long sleeve of her sweater.

Normally, if Chaeyoung had told her so directly that she had slept so little, Jisoo would have given her a whole lecture about the importance of sleep and resting the body, but knowing what Chaeyoung was going through at the moment, she didn't judge the blonde one bit.
