"Anyways, I don't know which will burn out first. My patience or my nerves" Chaeyoung said, stretching for the upcoming gym class, her hair tied up in a ponytail.

"Well, I think your patience thread already broke a long time ago. And your nerves are already hanging by a thread" Jisoo replied, her eyebrows slightly furrowed as she too bent her entire upper body to the right in her stretching position with her arms stretched toward the sky.

Only a scoff left Chaeyoung's lips at this answer from her best friend.

Although she knew exactly that she was right about her nerves being on the edge in the, unfortunately, again topical issue of Kim Jennie, she just gave Jisoo a short, serious look before jumping from her bent position to an upright one with a jerk.

"Okay, change of subject" she clapped her hands together briefly. "I really don't understand why we still have gymclass outside. Usually at this time of year we're already inside the sportshall playing dodgeball or basketball for the rest of the year..."

As wondering and really confused as Chaeyoung seemed in her statement about the unusual outdoor sports class, she couldn't care less about it.

After all, it wasn't as if it was minus degrees and the whole meadow was frozen.

The blonde just wanted to get away from the topic of "Jennie" because it not only gave her a headache the longer she had to talk about it, but also turned the entire inside of her body around.

And that's what bugged her more than anything else.

Because after all that Jennie has done to her, Chaeyoung still feels a small warmth in the back of her heart whenever she thinks of the brunette.

It was not a warmth of anger or of burning rage.

Rather, it felt like this warmth wanted to symbolize to Chaeyoung that as much as she wants to and tries to, she can't quite let go of Jennie yet, let alone forget her.

Chaeyoung would like to slap herself with this thought and this feeling, hard, but since she is surrounded by all her classmates including Jisoo and her gym teacher misses Bin, this would only make her look more than disturbed.

So, better just smoothly change the subject.

"Maybe misses Bin has found a new forum on the internet and thus new exercises that she can only do outside with us" Jisoo shrugged her shoulders, sounding relatively indifferent in this topic, since she only participated in the sports class as much as it demanded.

She doesn't run a step more than required, doesn't do any exercise for a second longer than required and is always one of the first to disappear to the locker room right after the bell rings.

She thinks that physical education is the most unnecessary subject in the whole school system worldwide.

If one likes sports, he makes time for it in his freetime, such as playing soccer or field hockey in a club, or very simple, go to the gym, and those who do not like sports or are generally not the most sporty ones, just do without it.

So why force them to do it at school?

"What, you mean like making us do one-armed pushups on the hard, cold stone floor?" Chaeyoung quipped back as she raised one of her blonde eyebrows and a small chuckle sounded from her.

However, that smile would quickly fade as misses Bin called the entire class together to get ready for running laps.

Not long after, the annoyed murmur in the different voices of the students filled the sports field as they made their way to the white starting line of the round, red race track at a pace that could not have been slower and with an attitude that could not have been more unmotivated.
