„Would you please hurry up a bit. I'm hungry" Lisa complained with a tone in her voice that already indicated that if she had to wait any longer for her beloved and ravenously awaited lunch, she would soon become quite hangry.

And everyone knows, old or young, that a hungry and angry teenager, especially a girl, is probably the most annoying thing in the world.

They whine, badmouth everything that is said to them or offered to them, and add to all this the loud, sharp tone.

But Jennie, didn't even make the slightest effort to speed up her walk out of the classroom into the long hallway, knowing how to tame and subdue a hangry Lisa, would she fall into that state.

"Calm down. We have to go to our lockers first anyway, unless you want to keep lugging your 4 books around and harm your back" the brunette countered with a little roll of her brown eyes, to which Lisa, by now impatiently pressing her fists into her waist and looking at her best friend with wide open, almost warning eyes, could only reply "Back pain or not, if I don't eat something soon this won't end well. Not for my classmates and maybe even neither for the teachers if they run into me"

"Well, one less annoying classmate or teacher wouldn't be the end of the world" Jennie pursed her lips briefly as she raised her shoulders slightly and briefly put her hand on Lisa's shoulder. "But, since I don't want you to get arrested for murder and get locked away, I'll be fast in swapping out my books. Just for you"

"Even if I had to go to court, I would win the case anyway, because I would have the best and greatest lawyer ever. You" Lisa followed her best friend, who replied to this actually rather funny scenario in Lisa's statement only with a quick turn of the head and raised eyebrows. "Me? The one whose weakest subject is economics and law? I would probably accidentally give you more years than you would actually deserve"

A chuckle escaped from between the lips of both friends before they continued their walk to their lockers at a slightly faster pace than before, especially for Lisa who was almost dying of hunger.

Fortunately for Lisa and the well-being of everyone around her, the two adjacent lockers of the two girls were not far from classroom 20, which they just left after 2 for once not extremely unnecessary and boring hours of English.

"What's for lunch today anyway?" asked Jennie as she lowered her eyebrows slightly while her right hand was already turning in the 5-digit numerical code on the lock of her blue locker door.

"I don't know. I'm actually hoping for Bulgogi, but we've already had that this week, so I don't think that's going to happen" replied the thai, who had already opened her locker wide and with fast movements of her arm was stowing one book after another inside, far from neat or organized.

Hunger really makes a mess out of a person....

"I actually would be happy with anything. Well, as long as it's Korean. Nothing against international food tho, but you know how our cooks mess up every foreign dish....in the worst way..." Jennie briefly turned her head to her right, where Lisa was already shivering from the words of her.

"Oh my god, yes. Remember when they made that Vesuvio pizza and it didn't even have tomato sauce or cheese on it, plus the dough was still half raw?" she spoke, her entire body covered in uncomfortable goosebumps as she briefly contorted her face slightly in disgust.

"Don't remind me. I mean, a pizza is something you can't do wrong. As I said, there are three basic ingredients. Tomato sauce, cheese, and bake long enough. Even you could do it. And you definitely don't belong anywhere near a kitchen" Jennie popped her eyes as a small smirk crept onto her lips that she had been trying to suppress, but the memory that played in her mind as those words left her lips, of how Lisa had once almost burned down not only the entire pot, but the entire kitchen at her house just trying to make chapagettis, was just too hilarious to not show any reaction to.
