"Yeah, you like that, don't you? Aww, you sweet, little- I love you, I love you, I love you" the slightly squeaky baby voice filled the four walls of Jisoo's room on what was supposed to be a quiet Sunday, as she cuddled with her so-called son Dalgom with a warm and pounding heart.
The two had both spread out on Jisoo's large bed that was placed in the middle of the room, and would certainly not have thought in the near future to rise again from the soft mattress and blanket, had not the audible in the whole house ringing of the front door interrupted the sweet and loving cuddle session of the mother-son duo.
Not only Dalgom jumped up by the bright noise with a jerk from the arms of Jisoo, but also she herself jumped up from her bed almost as fast and ran to the room door which she opened slightly more stormy than usual and thus gave her sprint and the one of her dog to the house door the starting signal.
"I'll get it" Jisoo shouted almost throughout the entire house as she hurried down the stairs, her eyes focused on the steps and her feet covered only in socks, so she wouldn't trip, fall and break her leg or something else.
But only a few moments later, not only the quick footsteps of Jisoo could be heard in the Kims' house, but also the bright barking of Dalgom, who behaves as if a burglar with a crowbar were standing infront of the door every time the doorbell rings, even if it is only the mailman delivering one of Jisoo's many packages.
"It's okay you big watchdog, calm down" Jisoo chuckeled as she had to walk slightly around her little dog to be able to put her hand on the golden painted door handle and finally face her expected visitor.
"Hey" the black-haired girl greeted her best friend with a heart-shaped smile that seemed to be made of pure diamonds.
"Hey Jisoo" Chaeyoung replied, her aura at least as radiant and her smile at least as big.
But before either Jisoo or the visitor Chaeyoung could say any more words of greeting to each other, someone in particular made himself known, indicating that he would also like to be greeted sweetly and have some attention from the blonde.
"And hello Dalgom. Oh, I missed you my white, fluffy troublemaker" Chaeyoung smiled at the small, bright bark of her fuzzy friend, before she bent down slightly and patted him once tenderly through his entire soft fur while she at least entered the family house of the Kims so far that Jisoo could at least close the door again to not let too much cold into the house, since today was not exactly one of the warmest days.
"Would you like to take something to drink upstairs?" asked Jisoo Chaeyoung, who was still giving her full attention to the little ball of fur that was hyperactively flitting around her legs.
"Uh, yeah, I'd love a Coke" Where others would have had to ask what drinks were even available in their friend's fridge, Chaeyoung knew exactly that Jisoo had her desired drink to offer, since this girl and her family literally have a year's supply of every drink you can even get in the supermarket in the fridge.
And the reason for this, Chaeyoung finds more than terrific.
Terrificaly funny.
When the Kim family moved into this house a few months ago, because their old one a few streets away was getting a bit too small for them, they bought their refrigerator, they had oversized it so much that more than 3 whole trays remained unfilled even after a big month's grocery shopping.
One day, Jisoo and her father came up with the idea of turning these compartments into a drinks bar.
Genius.
"Okay, coming right up" Jisoo replied, just before making her way into the open kitchen, which, like the entryway Chaeyoung was still in, was adjacent to the living room, almost like the Parks' house.
