Meeting the famous Slider

Dominic and Natasha was driving to his father's house. "You okay over there Kerner? You been quiet over there." Natasha asked as he was focus on the road. "Well... Your meeting my dad... My dad has been wanting to meet you and he has no idea that it's happening today." Dominic said

"Oh he has now.... how does he know about me?" Natasha said which caused Dominic's cheeks to redden. "I..uh... talk about you to him." He admitted which surprised Natasha. "I hope good things." Natasha said. "Oh yeah." Dominic said which caused the woman to smile at him.

Dominic pulled into his father's driveway. Natasha sensed that the Kerner was nervous, she grabbed onto his hand. "Relax, everything is going to be fine." Natasha assured him and he smiled a bit.

They hopped out and walked up to the front door. Dominic took a breathe and knocked on the door, waiting for his father. Then moments later, his father opened the front door. "Son, nice to see you and you must be Natasha Trace known as Phoenix... It's great to finally meet you, please come in.. both of you." Ron said to the both of them as he stepped aside to allow them both to step in.

Natasha looked around then she saw the photo of his mom. She sighed. Then followed Dominic and his dad into the kitchen. "Please sit, I'll grab you all a plate, I know you two are starving." Ron said as he got the pair a plate.

"So... I heard what happened today and the day before." Ron said which caused Natasha raise a brow and Dominic to look at his father. "How did.." Dominic said. "Son... I think you forget.... Iceman... besides he's having a talk with Maverick." Ron said. "Dad..." Dominic said.

"Son, you can't let your frustrations get the best of you, same goes to Rooster." Ron said to his son. "I know, but what he did to Roost, pretty messed up." Dominic said as he took a bite out of his food. "Doesn't mean you kill each other." Ron said sternly. "You know Maverick had part in this." Dominic said sternly. "Dominic.." Ron said sternly.  

Natasha sat at the table, listening to the father and son argue. 

"Dad, you are missing the point, He and I were close until my mother passed then all of the sudden he drops off the face of the earth then to top it off, he pulls Rooster's papers... dad, he could have done that to me!" Dominic exclaimed. "I know, I know! But I think it's time that you and Rooster put that in the past!" Ron exclaimed back. Dominic chuckled. "That's funny, very funny, why again? Because you know, Rooster's career got held back four damn years because of that dad." Dominic said as he gritted his teeth. "I know... you act like I don't know that." Ron said sternly.

Dominic shook his head. "I need... I need a minute to myself." Dominic said as he ran out the door. Natasha shook her head. "Sorry about that sweetheart." Ron apologized to Natasha. "It's fine... just a typically Father and Son arguing."  Natasha said.

Ron chuckled a bit. "I am going to guess you were the one that put his ass in line at Top Gun?" Ron questioned. Natasha chuckled a bit. "I am.." Natasha said. "I think you gave him a thump on the head." Ron said. Natasha chuckled. "He was an ass." Natasha said as she rose a brow at him.

"I know, he got it honestly from me, I was the same way but I changed when I met his mother.... which you remind me of.. so much." Ron said which made Natasha's heart flutter. Ron smiled at the woman.

"Please not only continue keeping him in line... but take care of my boy, but I have no doubt he will take care of you because you two... will be taking care of each other." Ron said. Natasha smiled. "Of course." Natasha said. Dominic walked back in the house.

"You cooled off now ass?" Natasha asked him. Dominic rolled his eyes at the woman. "Yeah." Dominic said then he looked at his father.

"Dad, I am sorry but I can't make no promise to forgive Maverick until he does the right thing, explain why he did what he did to Rooster, I'll consider." Dominic said. Ron nodded at his son. "I don't expect you to, but no more stunts, dangerous stunts, because I give Natasha here my full on permission to shove her foot up your ass." Ron said sternly. Natasha smiled a bit. 

"I will wait in the truck... thank you for inviting me Slider." Natasha said. "Anytime sweetheart, hope to see you soon." Ron said to her with a smile and she smiled back at him then she stepped out of the house and headed out to the truck.

"I hope you keep her... son that's a keeper... you better make her yours... before you miss your chance." Ron said to him. Dominic looked puzzled. "I seen how she looks at you, it's the same way your mother looked at me... plus she reminds of your mother, her spirit and attitude." Ron added. Dominic smiled. 

"I don't plan on dodging that opportunity, but I just don't know how..." Dominic said as he sighed. "You will... when the time is right, you will know.. believe me." Ron said. Dominic nodded at his father.

Dominic stepped into the truck. "Look I'm sorry about that." Dominic said. "It's fine, your father already apologized about it. Not saying your should but you should consider maybe solving your differences because if you did what you did again the other day... I will take your father's advice and shove my foot up your ass." Natasha said sternly. Dominic smiled a bit. "Alright alright... I will... for you." Dominic said and she smiled. 

Then their phones went off, They looked at each other puzzled. 

"Meet at the beach tomorrow."

They looked at each other, "Why the hell are we meeting at the beach?" Dominic questioned. "Who knows." Natasha said.

Sorry for a long await new chapter... I have been real busy and plus I got stump in writing as well, but I am back and ready to continue forward with this book.
