"Holy Shit, I can't leave him out there." Hawkeye said. "Kerner..." Phoenix said sternly. "Rooster, let's get him home.." Hawkeye said. Phoenix sighed. "You better come home safely." Phoenix said. "I promise." Hawkeye said.

Then he and Rooster turned around to find Maverick. "You and Phoenix?" Rooster asked. "Later Bradshaw!" Hawkeye said sternly.

Maverick woke up, in the snow. He looked at his surroundings, he sat up for a moment to see he was a little bit tangled. As soon as he finished untangling himself, he looked over to see the enemy's helicopter. He began to run but fell then realized his parachute was slowing him down, he quickly detached himself from it and ran behind the trunk. He hid there as bullets flown until the enemy's helicopter located him.

Before things escalated any further, the helicopter was blown to shreds by Rooster and Hawkeye trailing behind him. Maverick sighed in relief when he saw Rooster's and Hawkeye's planes. Unfortunately their planes get taken down, Maverick saw the both of them heading into the trees which Maverick ran for it. Maverick tracked them both down and thankfully, They gotten out of the crash unscathed.

He finds the both of them cutting away from their parachutes. "You alright?" Maverick called out after He reaches both Hawkeye and Rooster. "We're good!" Hawkeye exclaimed. "Yeah.." He responded. Then he was shocked and confused when Maverick pushes him into the snow. "Thank god, that wasn't me." Hawkeye said as he held onto his helmet.

"What the hell?!?" Rooster yells as he threw his helmet off as Maverick threw off his. "What are you two doing here?" Maverick questioned him and Hawkeye. "Wait, what the hell is that suppose to mean?" Hawkeye questions "What am I doing here?" Rooster questions him. "I took those missiles, so you two can be down here with me, You both should be back on the carrier by now!" Maverick shouted at them.

"We saved your life!" Rooster yelled back. "I saved your live and yours as well, that's the whole point, what the hell were you two even thinking?" Maverick questioned him. "You told us not to think!" Rooster yelled back. Hawkeye snorted. "He's not wrong old man." Hawkeye said as Maverick looked over at him with a dirty look on his face.

"Would you stop calling me old man?" Maverick said. "Please.. it's fun, geez no wondered my dad tormented you sometimes at Top Gun, but at the end of the day, you told my old man he stunk while you were flirting away." Hawkeye said. "How did you?" Maverick questioned. "My mom knew Charlie." Hawkeye said which shocked Maverick, Rooster stood by. "How come I never knew?" Maverick questioned. "I'm surprised my mother never mentioned it, but at the end of the day, you did deserve better, but doesn't mean you mess up people's careers. At the end of the day, you gotta let us live and accomplish our dreams." Hawkeye said. Rooster nodded while Maverick smiled. "We can sap later, what's the plan?" Hawkeye questioned Maverick.

"You're not serious?" Rooster questioned the men. He looked through the binoculars, "You gotta be kidding me. An F-14, two of them?" Bradley said as he looked ahead. "I shot down three MIGS in one of those." Maverick commented. "You don't even know if those bag asses can fly." Rooster said. "I agree with Roost here, those are prehistoric Mav."  Hawkeye said to Maverick, agreeing with Rooster. "Well... let's find out then." He said as He got up making his way to the runway. "Mav!" Bradley whisper shouts after him. "Damn it." Hawkeye muttered. "Okay..." Rooster muttered as he and Hawkeye followed Maverick.

They start walking through their runway, "Holy damn." Hawkeye muttered as he saw the enemies up ahead. "There's guys up there, Mav." Rooster points out to him. "Yep..." He responded. "Then there's more over there." Rooster points out the other direction. "Alright... Let's start running then shall we slow pokes." Hawkeye responds. "Yeah... run."

Then the three of them came up to both of the planes. Hawkeye looked over everything, he sighed. "The only thing we can hope is that they work but most likely since these morons had then connected to everything." Hawkeye said. "Hawkeye... can you fly an F-14?" Maverick asked. "What the hell kind of question is that, I may be Slider's son but I was also Iceman's Godson, he taught me everything I needed to know... I can fly the other plane beside I have faith Roost over there can be WSO." Hawkeye said. Maverick patted him on the shoulder. Hawkeye looked over at Rooster, "Unconnect everything on my plane, we got this." Hawkeye said. As soon as Hawkeye climbed up the ladder, Maverick put up the ladder and went over to the plane he's flying.

"Geez, this thing... very damn old." Hawkeye said as he was amazed at the controls of the plane. Hawkeye started turning everything on then he let Rooster know that he was good to unconnect everything. Then Rooster climbed in behind Maverick, Hawkeye laughed at his best friend's reaction. "I know, it's old." Hawkeye said. Then Hawkeye looked over at Maverick they both nodded at each other.

Then He and Maverick pulls the planes out then looks ahead, They looked at the destroyed runway. "Damn... I didn't realize how damage this runway is." Hawkeye muttered as he saw the crumbled runway. "Both runways are cratered, how are we going to get these museum pieces in the air?" Rooster questioned both Maverick and Hawkeye. Hawkeye sat there and thought about everything for a moment then he looked over at Maverick. Hawkeye nodded at Maverick while Maverick nodded back at him. They both pressed the buttons to bring the wings out on both of their planes. Rooster looked out and noticed the wings. "Why are the wings coming out, Mav and Hawkeye?" He questioned the both of them. "Well... Roost, I think you know why." Hawkeye answered him.

"Hawkeye and Maverick, this is a taxiway, not a runway. This is a very short taxiway." Rooster says to them. Hawkeye smirked. "I know, just relax there buddy." Hawkeye said to him as he and Maverick start to accelerate. "Holy shit!" He exclaimed as they took off quick. "Here we go!" Maverick exclaimed. "Holy shit!" Rooster exclaimed as they barely make it over the bridge then losing their front wheels int he process. "I don't think that was suppose to happen... oh well let's get these fossils and ourselves home." Hawkeye said to Maverick and Rooster.
