A/N : He's so pretty omggggg ! If you can caption the images above my chapters, I'll pick my favourites and give you shoutouts in the next chapter. I know my story isn't popular, but I can dream, ya dig?
You hated school. There were too many people there. The gang let you stick around every once and a while after school and on weekends, because apparently, when you were around, Johnny was happier. But you didn't want to spend much time there. Today you walked, the sky shining bright, in a dress that you loved, with a backpack too heavy for you. You had the clothing you had borrowed in a bag that you carried, just in case you saw one of the boys.
"You got lucky, Birdie," Harry's voice rang out from behind you, which made you stiffen. "But your bodyguards ain't here this time to protect ya. Get in, we'll drive ya to school."
"No, th-thank you. I'm alright."
"I said, get in, Y/N." Harry's voice was stiff and angry.
"And she said she's alright," Two-Bit's voice hollered. You turned to see him in a truck with Ponyboy in the passenger seat and Johnny in the back, staring at you. He was blushing pink when you noticed and then turned bright red when you smiled. "Scram, Soc." You climbed into the backseat and smiled at Johnny.
"Nice to see you again," you whispered.
"Y-you too," he replied, blushing even more.
"Shoot, Johnnycake," Ponyboy teased, "if ya get redder with every word the girl says, you'll explode 'fore we get to school!" The colour spread to Johnny's ears. You blushed as well.
When we pulled up to the school, Harry was waiting for you. He honked his horn, glaring at you.
"Wh-who's that?" Johnny asked. You frowned. "My ex, Harry. He th-thinks he still owns m-me," you stuttered.
"Tch, what a loser," Two-Bit thought out loud, but you didn't think he was even listening. Harry was rich. And a Soc.
Ponyboy, Johnny, and you got out and tried to ignore Harry as he followed behind you. Your eye throbbed and your nose was taped up. There was a cut on your jawline, but you hid it with your hair.
"Don't ya dare walk 'way from me, N/N. You think they'll protect ya? What happens when they learn what'cha did? Bet they'll go runnin'. They'll never love ya. Ain't nobody gonna love ya. Yer useless, ya hear? And yer mine!"
A silent tear ran down your cheek and Johnny turned to him. You looked up to see Johnny punch Harry. Before you knew it, the two boys were on the ground, fighting. "No! Stop! Please, don't hurt him!" You weren't sure who you were saying that to. Your brain was rolling around like Mondo in the death cage. "Johnny!"
Johnny paused, looking at you. That split second was enough for Harry to push him to the ground and punch him. "Had enough, hood?" Harry hissed.
"B-better I get hurt than her," Johnny replied.
"Ya little shit. I see how it is. You got the hots for my girl," Harry growled, putting his hand on Johnny's throat.
He shook his head. "Nah, I just know you don't deserve 'er," he replied quietly. Your heart sank a bit but you weren't sure why. Harry scoffed. He got off of Johnny and walked over to you. He grabbed your wrists and pinned you to the brick wall behind me. He leaned forward and kissed you forcefully. You struggled to get away, your eyes locking with Johnny's, who was blushing with anger. Eventually, you had enough, and dug your knee into his crotch. He collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain.
"Leave me alone, Harry, or I promise I'll make yer life a livin' hell." And with that, you took Johnny and Ponyboy's hands and the three of you walked into the school.
It was in the hallway where you leaned against the wall and let your weak knees get the better of you. You slid down to the tile floor and started to tremble, tears falling down your cheeks. Johnny slid down next to you. "God, I hate him so much," you sobbed. "Why w-won't he leave me alone?" Ponyboy discreetly walked away, giving you some space.
Johnny was quiet for a second. His face turned pink. "Because he knows he'll never find a girl as pretty as you." You blushed and looked up.
"Wh-what?"
A bell disrupted you, making you jump. "Crap, we're late." Johnny shot up. He held a hand out and helped you up. "U-uh, we- Um, the, uh, do ya need a ride after school?"
You hesitated. Then you nodded. "Yes, please." He smiled softly and nodded. Then you went your separate ways.
A/N : Again, the fight was inspired by @_N_D_J_. I got butterflies reading their writing and then got happy when I was writing it myself. I hope you enjoyed.
