THE TARDIS HAD LANDED

THE TARDIS HAD LANDED. Where, Juniper had no idea. But it was to the place that the Doctor had tracked the signal from the plastic head to. So, she gathered the central hub of the plastic invasion force was nearby. Or, at least, she hoped so anyway as they needed to find it to save Earth from the invasion of the plastic.

As soon as the TARDIS touched ground, the Doctor made a dash for the doors. Juniper's headaches had vanished so the girl was able to pull herself up as Rose called after the Doctor. "You can't go out there! It's not safe!"

"Come on, Rose." Smiled Juniper as she grabbed her friend's hand and pulled her towards the door. Unlike the young blonde, Juniper knew they had moved away from the danger, to somewhere completely different. So she was not scared of being attacked once outside.

And when they both reached the doorway and looked outside, they both realised that they were right beside the Thames.

"I lost the signal." The Doctor was pacing. "I got so close."

Both girls exited the wooden phone box and closed the doors behind them.

Rose stared at her surroundings in utter confusion and wonder. "We've moved." She noted in shock and then asked. "Does it fly?"

"It disappears there and reappears here. You wouldn't understand."

He sounded so tired and so defeated that it made Juniper look over at the man with worry. After all, he was so close to finding the base of the Nestene consciousness and stopping the plastics, but now he had nothing. Still, Juniper refused to give up hope.

"But if we're... somewhere else, what about that headless thing? It's still on the loose?" Queried a concerned Rose.

The Doctor replied bluntly. "Melted with the head." He began to turn away from the stone barrier to made his way back towards the girls and the TARDIS. "Are you gonna witter on all night?"
