"NOOOOO!" Me and Obi-Wan shouted in sync. I felt someone grab my wrist. I looked up and saw it was the Sith. I reached up and continued to hit him as he dragged me to the edge. I threw me off, but I grabbed the edge at the last second. The Sith walked away, and I heard the force field doors open again. I heard the sound of two sabers fighting. I used all my strength and pulled myself up. As soon as I was on top, I saw Obi-Wan fall down. I saw the Sith looking over the edge and him kick Obi-Wan's saber over the edge. The Sith cut some of the edge, trying to get Obi-Wan to let go, but he wouldn't. I saw Obi-Wan look at Qui-Gon's sword. I had to help him, be a distraction. But how? Then, I felt a calling. I looked in my jacket pocket and saw a familiar figure. I grabbed it and pulled it out. It revealed the pink dangerous light. This was it. My old saber. But how...Yoda. I shook my head and chuckled. He always knew something way ahead of time.
I got up and ran at the Sith. I swung my saber down and he blocked it. I swung at him again and he continued to block my attacks.
"Obi-Wan, now!" I shouted. Suddenly, Obi-Wan landed behind him and cut the Sith right across the stomach. The Sith groaned and then fell over the edge. I watched as he broke in two as he fell down, never to be seen again. I turned to Obi-Wan. "Are you okay?" He nodded. His eyes trailed down to my saber. I put my saber away and he put his away. We quickly ran over to Qui-Gon. Obi-Wan took Qui-Gon in his arms and I held Qui-Gon's hand.
"No, it—it's too late." Qui-Gon stuttered in pain.
"No." Obi-Wan said, shaking his head. Tears came to my eyes as I looked at my old master.
"Obi-Wan." Qui-Gon said. "Promise...Promise me you will train the boy."
"Yes, master." Obi-Wan said as Qui-Gon touched his face.
"He is the chosen one." Qui-Gon said. "He...will bring balance." Obi-Wan nodded. "Train him." He nodded again and Qui-Gon looked at me. "My dear Nefertari."
"You know I don't like to be called by my full name." I joked, chuckling sadly. Qui-Gon smiled.
"Promise me...you will take care of them...while I can't." Qui-Gon said. "Anakin and Obi-Wan."
"I will." I said, nodding as my voice broke. "I promise." He reached out and put his hand on my cheek. I put my hand over his.
"My young Padawan..." He said. "All grown up...into a very strong woman. My little Jedi, you are loved. I loved you, my daughter..." Tears rolled down my face as he took his last breath and died. I broke down and sobbed into his chest.
"I loved you too, my father." I said, saying goodbye to my adopted father.

I stood next to Obi-Wan as Padme said goodbye to the viceroy, who she made a deal with.
"Now, Viceroy, you're going to have to go back to the senate and explain all this." Padme said.
"I think you can kiss your trade franchise goodbye." Captain Panaka said, walking up to them. Captain Panaka and the Viceroy walked away with Obi-Wan and Anakin following. I turned to Padme.
"My friend, I must go too." I said. "I have something to settle."
"I understand, Nefari." Padme said, smiling at me. "You must go back to the Jedi Council."
"I'm sorry." I said.
"Don't be, my friend." She said, taking my hands in hers. "You did your duty well. You defended and protected me. There is nothing else for you to do now. You're needed elsewhere. But if I ever do need you again, and I always will, I'll let you know." I smiled and hugged her. She hugged me back. We pulled away as Palpatine walked up to us. He bowed.
"Nefari, thank you for your service." He said.
"It was my duty, Chancellor." I said.
"I am relieving you of duty, Nefari." Padme said, smiling. "You may go." I bowed.
"Always a pleasure, Your Majesty, to serve you." I said. I stood up and smiled at her.
"Congratulations on your election, Chancellor." Padme said.
"Your boldness has saved our people, Your Majesty." Palpatine said. "It's you who should be congratulated. Together we shall bring peace and prosperity to the Republic." He still gave me a bad feeling, but I ignored it. I was happy it all ended.

"Confer on you the level of Jed Knight the council does." I heard Yoda said from behind the door. "But agree with your taking this boy as your Padawan learner, I do not."
"Qui-Gon believed in him." Obi-Wan said. Yoda sighed.
"The chosen one the boy may be." Yoda said. "Nevertheless, grave danger I fear in his training."
"Master Yoda, I gave Qui-Gon my word." Obi-Wan said. "I will train Anakin."
"Ohh!" Yoda grunted.
"Without the approval of the council, If I must." Obi-Wan added.
"Qui-Gon's defiance I sense in you." Yoda said. "Need that you do not...Agree with you the council does. Your apprentice Skywalker will be." Yoda sighed. "But you will have a second Jedi at your side to help you."
"What?" Obi-Wan asked as I pushed open the doors and walked in. They turned to me.
"Master Yoda." I said, bowing.
"Find your saber, I see." Yoda said, nodding to the saber on my side.
"Yes." I said. "Thank you, Master."
"No idea what you're talking about, I have." Yoda lied but then winked at me. I chuckled as he turned to Obi-Wan. "Reinstated as Jedi, Nefari is. Train Anakin, you may. But train you, Nefari may." Yoda turned to me. "Train him well, Master Nefari." I bowed and Yoda bowed to me. He walked out and Obi-Wan stood up.
"So you came back." Obi-Wan said.
"I promised Qui-Gon I would look out for you and Anakin." I said, walking up to him and crossing my arms. "And I never break my promises. Well...almost all of them." I patted my saber.
"So, you're my new Master now?" He asked, smirking that stupid smile. A bit flirtatious too. I couldn't help but smile.
"You may call me Master Nefari." I said, smirking back. "Come young Master." I started walking away with him following.
"You're younger than me!" He said. I chuckled and we walked out.
