I looked at my messy-haired friend as he stared after Evans. I wasn't sure why, but color rose to my cheeks and my eyes flared.
Sirius raised his eyebrows. "Wow, Cousin, are you alright?"
I realized what I was doing and immediately stopped. "Yeah... I just, you know, hate Cygnus and Druella. More like Cruella." I voiced angrily, and Sirius looked sympathetic.
"Yeah, I've met your 'rents a couple times. Their not exactly what you would call 'loving parents'. Then again, neither are mine." He tucked his shaggy hairdo behind his ear as we boarded the train, and winked at a fourth-year girl which sent her into fits of giggles, blushing nervously and grinning like an idiot. "But, hey, Cousin, look on the bright side- it's our third year! Hogsmeade, without having to sneak around under James's cloak! Also..." His voice turned into a whisper. "Operation Animals is almost complete."
I rolled my eyes. "Why do you guys insist on calling it that?"
James tore his eyes away from Evans and smirked at me. "It's the perfect name, that's why!"
Peter grinned. "Uh huh, Bella, your going to have to get used to it, it's been three years!"
"Well, I am excited. And..." I tapped my trunk. "I have a book in here that I think will help us."
Sirius looked at the trunk warily and inched away. "Did you say... book?" He asked fearfully, quaking where he stood.
"Oh, yes, I did, Sirius, and guess what?" I grinned evilly.
"...what?" he asked quietly.
"I have one right in my carry-on!" I grinned, pulled it out, and tackled him.
James jumped on the pig pile and yelled, "YAY! I love snuggles!"
Remus rolled his eyes. "You guys..."
We all ignored him.
"You guuuuys..." he said insistently.
"What, Remus?"
He grinned slyly. "Don't you want a snack?"
The woman at the trolley looked so mystified by our unruly behavior. I think she wanted to run away as fast as she could, but James, Sirius and I quickly stood up and dusted ourselves off, embarrassed. Something seemed to catch Sirius's eye.
"Hey, Remus, your boyfriend is here!!" He grinned.
I looked, hoping that it wasn't him. Unfortunately, it was.
"No," he smirked. "Actually, I'm here to talk to the Slytherin." He raised an eyebrow at me, daring me to get angry.
I huffed and said, "What?"
"Can I speak to you in private?"
I sighed and stood up. "Be right back, guys." I walked out of the compartment with him. Suddenly, his tone turned urgent.
"Listen. You're in danger."
"What do you mean?" I'd never heard him speak so... unsarcastically, ever.
"I mean, my Uncle is looking for more recruits. He's going to take you- I'm sure of it- at the latest, fifth year. But more likely sooner. Your parents, they might pull you out of school, and Uncle wants you to become a death eater soon, before he loses you as well as your cousin. You just need to be careful- they're watching you now, you probably shouldn't... associate yourself with them."
"What do you mean?" I asked, but I already knew.
"Listen, your friend group is made up of a blood traitor, another blood traitor, a werewolf, and an almost-squib. I don't think they'll like that. Start making friends with the Slyther-"
"No." I said angrily. "No way, you can't make me." He grabbed my arm, but I twisted away. "Get off!" I said angrily.
"Bellatrix, you don't under-"
"I said, get OFF!" I yelled. I wrenched my arm out of his grasp and stormed back into the compartment.
Remus stood up. "You alright?" he asked, than, confusedly, sat back down, blushing a bit. "I mean... what did he want?"
"Nothing. Just death eater crap, ruining stuff as usual. But back to better matters... who wants to become animagi?"

"Black, Narcissa!"
I prayed for my sister to not get Slytherin. She could be good, I knew it, but she wouldn't if she wasn't surrounded by good. I needed her to be Griffindor, or Ravenclaw, or even Hufflepuff. Please... I soundlessly whispered.
"SLYTHERIN!!!" The idiotic hat shouted.
No! I thought angrily. But she shrugged the hat off and grinned. Maybe I was wrong, maybe her and I weren't so alike. But I remembered, before Hogwarts, when we had been so close...
—Flashback—
"En Garde!" I shouted, holding my wand out in front of me like a sword.
"No fair, I don't know that spell!" Cissy howled.
"Silly, it's not a spell! It's just a... saying. Now, let's be pirates!"
"No, I want to play Hogwarts!!" she moaned.
"Fine, Hogwarts it is. What house are you in?"
"I don't know. Whichever one you're in? "
"Griffindor, where the brave at heart dwell!" I shouted.
Suddenly, my memory was interrupted by another one.
"Now... which house do you truly belong to, Bellatrix?" My father asked dangerously.
I spoke through my bloody lip. I knew the words I had to say... but they were not the ones I did say. "Griffindor." I spat out.
My father roared in anger, and his fist hit my face, making me dizzy.
"Griffindor... where the... brave..." I murmured, and suffered another blow.
I dismissed my memories as food appeared on the table. I had to not think about that. I didn't have to, anyway, for another ten months...
A/N
So, I've been reading a lot of other fan fictions recently and I've realized their chapters are a LOT longer than mine. So, I'm sorry. I'm just not very good at doing stuff like writing long chapters... or exercising, on a side note... also, I have been having headaches all the time now so, well.
