The Only Cure

Episode 10

* LAUREN'S POV *
I wake up and sit up surrounded by the girls and Lexi sitting next to me. I am very dazed and confused.

Lauren: Guys.. Dddani is right th-there I say uncontrollably shaking.
Christina: Lo, it's okay, she's not here your hallucinating, calm down, no one is going to hurt you, we've got you.
Lexi: Aw baby, no one is here besides us, don't worry. Calm down
Lauren: Chris, I feel like crap, I think I'm gonna be sick.
* LAUREN'S POV *
I race into the bathroom not even locking the door and immediately start throwing up in the garbage pail. I feel so sick, I'm all sweaty and I feel like the room is spinning. I collapse on the floor where my nose starts to bleed again and I black out.

Christina: Lexi, hurry up and get in here, Lauren is unconscious and bleeding from the nose. We need to call 911.
Lexi: Baby, I'm right here, please just hang tight, your gonna be okay.

* PARAMEDICS POV *
She definitely needs to get to the hospital as soon as possible. It appears to be that she lost a lot of blood, it also looks like she threw up a bunch bile. We strap her in on the gurney and rush her to the emergency room.

Doctor: Is Lauren on any type of medication or drugs? We found a pretty high dose of Xanax in her system which could explain the large amount of bile.
Christina: Lauren used to smoke cigarettes. If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure she would smoke 4 a day. She is in the process of quitting smoking and has switched to vaping hoping to lessen her intake and then eventually quit. Earlier today she did look extremely buzzed and was hallucinating. I had no idea she was taking Xanax. I'm going to have to speak to her about that. Is she awake?
Doctor: Yes she is, she is alert and can speak. Y'all can go in the room, I ask that you refrain from being too loud and do not turn the lights on as Lauren is a bit sensitive to the lights right now.
Lexi: Baby, are you okay? I kiss her lips passionately.
Lauren: Who the hell are you?! Get your lips off me!!!
Lexi: Baby it's me, Lexi your girlfriend. I feel tears rolling down my cheeks.
Christina: Doctor, Doctor!?! Can we get an explanation as to what's going on??
Doctor: The way in which she fell gave her slight memory loss and we have her on pain medication right now to alleviate the pain she has in her head due to the way she fell. She is allowed to go home but please keep an eye on her, make sure she refrains from vaping, drinking and smoking as it will only increase her hallucinations and memory loss. The best thing to do is just give her Tylenol and let her rest. She should be better in about a week.
* FAST FORWARD TO HOME *
Lauren: Owww, where am I and who are you people, I need a cigarette to process everything going on.
Christina: I'm Christina your older sister, that's Katherine and Lisa your two other younger older siblings and that's Amy your younger sister. That's Lexi your girlfriend. Laur, you can't have nicotine hun, I know it's hard.
Lauren: Wait a mm-minute, I think I remember wwwhat happened. Dddani went and bought me a basket of things to hhhelp me quit smoking. One of the items were tic tacs to keep my mouth busy. I put a bunch of them in my mouth and I thought they tasted different but I didn't think anything of it. They were the mint flavor. I can go grab them if you want Christian.
Christina: Laur, your brothers name is Christian, I'm Christina. If you could go retrieve them from your room I would greatly appreciate it.
Lauren: Here you go Christina, these are the tic tacs.
Christina: Some of these in here are definitely NOT tic tacs. I am going to flip the frick out on Dani. Laur, I am SO SO SO sorry she did this to you.
Lauren: Chris, don't I-II have a girlfriend, w-w-where is she I say trembling nervously.
Christina: Lauren, I'm so happy you are starting to get your memory back!!! I give Lauren a hug. She's right next to you sweetheart.
Lauren: L-Lexi is that-ttt you I say nervously.
Lexi: It is baby, come give me kisses, I love you so much baby girl. I pull her into a passionate kiss.
Amy: Awww, I so stan their relationship, they are the cutest.
Katherine: I am so incredibly happy for them!
Lisa: They were definitely made for one another for sure!
* LAUREN'S POV *

Mmmm babe, I smile into the kiss pulling her closer enjoying every second of this kiss granting her permission for her tongue to make entry into my mouth. All of a sudden, BANG! Glass shattered all over the floor. What I didn't expect was who came through the door.

Lauren: AGHHHH, it's D-ddd-Dani. Back off and stay the hell away from my girlfriend I exclaim.
Christina: Dani, you are traumatizing your sister, please leave, Lauren can't be under any stress.
Dani: So Lauren, I see you enjoyed the surprise I gave you, felt good right?
Lauren: NO it didn't, it hurt me.
Dani: Now your stupid girlfriend is going to pay for bringing you to the hospital when you were supposed to die.
Lauren: Dani NOOO, I attempt to tackle her, missing her body.
